I visited Baltimore, Maryland wanted a quick bite… stopped by Potbelly Sandwich Shop. First time at the sandwich shop. The place is clean and organized. The staff are friendly, professional, and attentive.
I ordered a skinny chicken sandwich combo. Comes with a drink and chips. My friend ordered the PB&J sandwich with a drink.
The chicken sandwich was tasty with all the fixins.
The place has a variety of goodies on the menu besides sandwiches. Potbelly has shakes and cookies.
The place is spacious. So, plenty of seating.
Bathroom available
Potbelly is located in a plaza, so plenty of parking.

Got there at opening and apparently, they have 2 doors. This was my first time at this location, so I didn’t know. a few minutes past opening I tried to open the door, which was locked, so I waited outside. Someone finally came to open the door, but apparently the other door (side door) was already open.
The older lady making the sandwiches was rude. I would describe her as someone who talks more than she listens and then assumes the customer’s order for them. She spoke too fast and seemed to be rushing me.
I got my food later than I had expected as well. I was the first one in the store followed by another. I ordered my sandwich and salad. The other person ordered I think 2 subs. He got his food before me, okay that’s fine, but then took another 5 minutes or so to get my food. Total time ~20min. Longer than i expected of a fast-food place that just opened.

I’m a pilot and I flew into BWI and checked into a hotel nearby. I did not have a rental car so I had to find something that I could walk to to eat. I walked about a half mile to Potbelly, because I had had good luck with them in the past. I arrived at 8:05 and placed my order at 8:10. I knew the closing time was 9:00. I ordered 2 cups of soup, a fountain drink, and asked for an Oreo milkshake. The guy taking my order (I think his tag said Gi) told me that they don’t make milkshakes after 8:00 p.m. I was disappointed because that’s the main reason I decided to go to Potbelly. Interestingly, as I sat and ate my soup, I heard him blending two milkshakes after that. I was just very disappointed in this young man. The food wasn’t bad, but it was also not a lot for the 15.00 I paid. I really wanted to pay another $7 and get my milkshake.

I normally have a great experience every time I come here, but this last visit I had was not good. I did a pickup order, which included a fountain drink, so I needed to open my bag and take out the cup. Cup was not even in my bag. Ask an employee for a cup, that’s all solved, I leave and realized cheese was put on my sandwich even though I requested no cheese, my chips and cookie that I paid for are nowhere to be found. Not a happy camper.

My “turkey avo” sandwich was not evenly prepared. I would’ve appreciated more of the onions I requested. This is because I love onions. The staff seem very nice. I was given the incorrect bottle of tea.

You know when you are having a bad morning? Up all night traveling, didn’t know what to eat, walked up and down the airport couldn’t make a decision, I finally went with Potbelly, to say the least I spilled a cup of coffee and felt terrible, but the ladies working there made me feel at ease, they smiled, they joked around, we had a few laughs and I really needed that! I ordered the Ham and Swiss and it had been the best H&S I’ve had in a while, I’m still stuck on the service and how their smile and laugh was able to turn my morning around. I am so grateful, we need this type of customer service everywhere we go!!

10/21/25 1:20 pm. Woman was preparing to-go orders as I was waiting for my Door Dash order. She walked past and placed a completed order on the shelf. I asked if that order was for my customer by their name as they are all labeled by name and she replied ‘I don’t know.’ in a very rude tone and didn’t even make eye contact as she rushed back past me to complete more orders. Complete lack of respect and totally unaware of the job they are so called doing. Not one other employee has made themselves available to try to ask for help.

Nice and clean . Cute little sandwich place . The workers were really helpful and polite minus the older dark skin lady ( real nasty attitude) anyways I had the pizza melt and cup of chili . I think people may enjoy it however it wasn’t my cup of tea I’m wondering if it’s just my taste buds today from drinking last night .I don’t think I will give them a try again .

I stopped by here to get food for my trip to the airport. I will be on the plane for the next several hours and decided I wanted a sandwich to take with me. This location has proven to be a five-star for food and service for me, again.
