Strictly for PEOPLE NEW to Potbelly –
My first time trying out this sandwich chain, and my first impression – I like Subway better. Way better. I mean yes, Potbelly also has soup options, but sandwich wise, I wasn’t impressed.
It’s a little more expensive than Subway, and the sandwich ingredients are way less too.
The atmosphere however is tons better, an 8/10 as compared to a generic Subway being 6/10.

I ordered the new prime rib steak and about half way through the sandwich, I saw a “BEST BY” date tag that was in the sandwich. This is not acceptable with the lack of quality control for this place. The sandwich also was suppose to come with caramelized onions and it did not.
I got a refund after reporting this and bringing back the sandwich. I will not be coming back here!

I picked up my order, so I can’t speak much to the quality of service when dining in, but the food was great. Saw the staff check my order before sending it out to make sure it was all correct, which is great attention to detail, though I would expect them to do this before I come to pick it up since it meant I had to wait there.

Great sandwiches and super friendly staff. We came in while they were already closed, but staff was so nice to make us a sandwich. A warm welcome after along day of traveling and work.
I’ve been to this location three times. Each time, I’ve interacted with different team members. The personalities and friendliness of the team there is top notch. I’ve had some good laughs and conversations with them. The location is always clean, the service is fast, and the sandwiches are tasty!
My go to, you ask!??…. “The Wreck!” Make no mistake about it. Thank me later! The sandwich is beastly good!! Loaded with just about every meat and topping, they have to offer. You can go full Monty or scale it down to your liking, but either way it is mad delicious and you can’t go wrong with this sandwich.
You can’t go wrong with this sandwich shop and I recommend!

I walked in with My Family all eyes were on me as if not another customer everyone looked tired and angry to see me, no smiles, I literally missed Chick fil-la customer greeting and Mission BBQ walking greeting “Hi Welcome to Mission BBQ—-with smiles. This is my first time eating at Potbelly and it started off as a very rocky experience. But thanks to one of the friendlier staff members (unfortunately one staff member refused to acknowledge me verbally at any point of my visit, which is the reason this isn’t a 5 star review), I was able to enjoy my meal and would definitely try Potbelly again!

So I love Potbelly. I go there often and love the food especially any sandwich with hot peppers. I go to a potbelly probably on average once a week for the last several years. Overall I’d give Potbelly 5 stars on food and service for being delicious and fast.
However, the last 3 times I have ordered from this Potbelly they have gotten my to-go order meaningfully incorrect and it’s frustrating when you get home and open up your bag and it’s nothing like what you ordered. The latest example: I ordered a Turkey Avocado sandwich with cheddar and double meat on thin cut white. I got a sandwich with literally no meat or cheddar cheese – literally just avocado and some orange sauce and maybe feta (not sure what) on wheat bread. One other sandwich was also made incorrectly with hot peppers (not ordered) which my kid won’t eat. I called the store and spoke to a nice manager who was filling in here and I was promised a refund. Unfortunately – I have gone through this process here more than once in the past and so far have never gotten any credit or refund. I will keep going but I wish they would figure out how to get better at order accuracy.
However the cookies are always delicious. Don’t miss those.
UPDATE: I reached out again and they refunded the order above, and I was happy with the service.

Not only was this particular branch of the restaurant unable to fulfill basic requests such as bread selection, toppings, etc., but the manager then *refused* to fix the incorrect order (despite the instructions CLEARLY PRINTED ON THE LABEL!). When I asked to be given the number for the general manager or when they would be in, that information was not only refused, but the manager decided that it would be appropriate to hang up on me!
Note to the general manager/franchise owner – whoever the manager was on the afternoon of June 12, 2023 at 4-4:30pm needs at best some serious retraining!

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and it was made incorrectly. I asked them to fix it which they did without question.
