Good chicken! Was craving something salty and this did not disappoint. The employees were very friendly too and gave me a sparkling drink sample, which was also good. I appreciate the time they took to explain the menu items as well in particular the way the chicken is cooked! I would come back to try something else but I think the chicken is the good value. Fries and onion seemed a bit pricey but may return for those.

When you visit Potato Guys, definitely stick to ordering the fries. The fries in all styles are fresh and the seasonings are delicious. I particularly liked the seaweed seasoning flavor, but all flavors I tried were tasty so I think in the end it’s up to personal preference.
However, the chicken wings were flavorless except the chili powder sprinkled on them, and they were very spicy for being labeled “mild.” I would skip getting these next time and just get the fries.
Service was friendly and efficient, but the location wasn’t very clean as there were spilled fries on the staircase and floor of the dining area that looked like they had been there for a while.

One of my favorite spots to go to for seasoned fries! It always comes out fresh. My boyfriend and I usually order the large original fries with chili BBQ.

I’m not a local of the area. Was just walking around and stumbled upon this place. As a Filipino and if you love Potato Corner, then this place I can recommend.
I got the large bucket fries cheddar cheese flavor and a Pepsi. I enjoyed it.
I assume they specialize in mostly fries but I saw on the menu they serve burgers as well. (Have not tried yet)
They have indoor seating up the stairs that looks like it could seat approx. 20 people, or up to 8 groups/party, or they have 8 tables.
They also have outdoor settings but I didn’t see umbrellas for the sun.
Overall I’ll comeback again when I get a chance.

I paid $9 for fries and I don’t regret it. I got sweet corn flavor waffle fries and they were hands down the best fries I have ever had. I didn’t know fries could be this good. They give you a good amount too.

New fry store took over the old Cajun place. Good fries, definitely better than potato corner which I find too sweet and not crispy enough.

Ordered 3 large order of fries (original, seaweed, and Cajun) via DoorDash and definitely won’t be trying again. Not sure if it was the DoorDash delivery but fries were not fresh IMO, all were cold, and none had a flavor that really caught my attention. This place reminded me of fries from Wing Stop, just seasoned. Not a place if you’re craving fries IMO, but then again, I didn’t order and dine in.

Trying to get something to eat in san mateo down town, and saw this new place, we would like to have a try. They basically selling flavor Fries and burger. We ordered two burgers, two fries and two bite.
Their fries are freshly fried so they telling us that’s gonna take a bit. The curly fries are delicious!! My sister really love that. Service was awesome and very patient. they also have dining seating. My experience was very perfect.

My friends and I LOVED this place. We love a good potato, but to have so many options? Tater tots, curly fries, waffle fries? We left extremely content. We were a big fan of the curly fries with sweet corn seasoning. They also had some nice seating upstairs! Definitely a nice hangout spot to get some snacks with friends.
