I recently dined at Posto and the food was absolutely excellent. Every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The presentation was great and everything came out tasting fresh and authentic.
Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match the level of the food. It felt a bit inattentive at times and not as polished as you’d expect given how good the menu is.
Overall, I’d still return for the food alone — it was that good — and I’m hoping the service improves on our next visit.

Visiting family in the area, we always struggle to find a decent place for dinner. Well we shall struggle no more since we found Posto! We really enjoyed our cocktails and meal here at this casual, modern and fresh Italian spot by the Federal folks . Everything was well prepared, well seasoned but not overly salty and very fresh. The room was very open with high ceilings and very clean. Attentive staff and management. Cacio e Pepe fries were a hit, even with my husband who normally hates fries! (though needed more pepper for the one pepper freak at the table-me!). The kitchen very kindly split two entrees for us without us asking (or charging for it, which was lovely!) The veal entree was crispy and generously sized. Chicken parm was very originally prepared with various sauces and an interesting almost couscous lime pasta beneath it-tasty and if you don’t care for that style pasta I’m sure they would sub in standard spaghetti for you. Espresso martini was frothy perfection. Our only nitpick was the lettuce on our ceaser salad was brown and the salad overall was lacking flavor-needed lemon, garlic and pepper. We shared a special dessert that was generously sized and fun to eat. Looking forward to making this a regular spot when we visit our family.

The ambiance was good and the food delicious. I had the hanger steak and sides and the sorbet for dessert. However, my seating was awkward. I was across from my friend, who was seated at the end of a cushioned bank. Our table was flush up against a cabinet or station of sorts. It made it difficult to get comfortable and I felt in the way. Had the table been moved slightly away from there, it would have been better. That being said, we had a good time and the food was great.

Not pictured the risotto balls with the garlic mash were insane. Everything was awesome, it’s pricey because it’s WORTH it. I would go back for this chicken parm every day if I could. Just go and eat all of it!

It was Beautiful day so the patio was great!. The service was good but a friendly personality was lacking. I suppose I should have picked a different dish but the salad panini combo wasn’t bad. Overall I’d try it again!

Posto Italian is a great choice if you are prioritizing a high-quality meal, as the food was the clear standout at 4 stars. The service and the atmosphere were both acceptable at 3 stars each, neither adding to nor taking away from the experience significantly. Overall, the quality of the kitchen’s output makes this a dependable 4-star destination for a good Italian dinner.

We had the absolute best experience thanks to our waitress, Merissia! She was incredibly kind, attentive, and so sweet to our daughter, which truly meant a lot to us. She explained everything perfectly, was fast, intelligent, and made the entire experience feel effortless. When it came time to pack up our food, everything was done neatly and thoughtfully. We’ve been here multiple times, but this is the first time we’ve been so impressed that we felt compelled to leave a review. Merissia is hands down our favorite waitress and will absolutely be the reason we come back. We truly hope we get her again and will be requesting her every time!

Visiting the area today and walked into this gem for lunch. Great menu, friendly staff and beautiful place. Had the Posto Chopped Salad with grilled chicken. Highly recommend.

The food was overpriced and mediocre. The server was hard to find. We waited 30 minutes to be seated even though we called and told them we were coming. I found empty tables they could have put together but they preferred to let us stand and wait by the desk. It cost us about $450. Their prices for a pupu pasta, five small portions of different pasta was $49.00. THEY ARE OVER PRICED. It was also too noisy.
