Nice place. Could do gluten free. Gluten free bread. Food was pretty quick and tasted good. Server was nice, but didn’t seem very happy. Still did everything right but wasn’t overly attentive, still a good experience. Would return when we are in the area. It was happy hour, menu not very extensive. Liquor selection was limited as well.

Postino offers an absolutely beautiful setting that earns a 10/10 for ambiance, making it a premier destination for anyone seeking a sophisticated, romantic, and laid-back vibe. With shimmering lights reflecting over the tables, a great music flow, and large picture windows, it is an ideal spot for a memorable date night or a lively girls’ night out. The layout is impressively unique, featuring a wine cellar at the entrance and diverse seating options that range from cozy indoor couches and circular tables to a welcoming outdoor patio equipped with heat lamps.
The Pros
The environment is undoubtedly the restaurant’s strongest asset. From the moment you walk through the door, the “laid-back luxury” feel is evident. The greeter set a fantastic tone for the evening; he was exceptionally welcoming, greeted us with a genuine smile, and went out of his way to find us the perfect table. While the food menu is focused on boards and finger foods rather than heavy comfort meals, the quality is excellent and pairs perfectly with the wine selection. The “Olive Cake” is a standout recommendation—rich, moist, and elevated by a delicious black cherry wine sauce. Furthermore, while the night began with service issues, the two servers who took over after a shift change were friendly and proactive, successfully saving the evening.
The Cons
Despite the high-end feel, there were significant “missed opportunities” regarding service and maintenance. Our initial server was quite standoffish, providing no greeting, no “thank you,” and zero open-ended conversation. This lack of hospitality made the 13-minute wait for a simple water refill feel even longer. Additionally, the restroom was a major area of concern. It was in clear need of a refresh, with an overflowing trash can, paper towels scattered on the floor, and hair left on a wet sink area.
Final Verdict
If you are looking for a heavy meal to get “full,” this is not the place—it is strictly for drinks and tasting boards. I would highly recommend Postino for the scenery, the wine, and the dessert, but management should address service consistency and facility cleanliness. Ultimately, the atmosphere and the late-shift staff ensured it ended as a very pleasurable evening.

Amazing Postinos location. Fast and great service. The food is always the best! Our 10 month old son was obsessed with the meatballs. Me and my mom love sharing the Brushetta choose 4 board. Great happy hour specials also here also(so much to choose from for beer/wine).

I freaking love this place so much I came back a second time on my second trip to Tuscon, and this time I brought my friends. The crostini as PHENOMENAL. So are the panini, and the mushroom fondu. Eat everything. Try everything. It helps that the ambiance is great (snag seats at the outdoor indoor bar if the weather allows, and the staff is wonderful! Wish I lived closer!!

Really enjoyed this place. Only complaint, I asked for a table for 5 and initially they say us at a table that might fit 4, when out 5th showed up they noticed and moved us to an outside table (it was a nice night). Caught happy hour for first round (ends at 5) and had a couple boards (hummus board and the chef charcuterie ) that were delicious. I had had the pick 4 board for dinner and was happy. (Tomato mozzarella; spicy jam on goat cheese; burrito and bacon; and the salami pesto). Two of my friends had panini and really enjoyed them. I know one was the Italian beef dip not sure on the other
We will come back.

I’m going to preface this by saying that although my fiancée works (really hard) in the kitchen, my review remains unbiased.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice, friendly, and comfortable. In my opinion, it’s a nice place to go and have drinks with a partner or with a group of friends. The staff here are all so polite and accommodating, definitely ideal for “hangouts” unlike other restaurants that expect you to eat and leave within an hour. I also really appreciate that the outdoor patio has heaters in place for chilly weather, and every table has cover so you’re not in the direct sun.
Last, but definitely not least, the food is SO GOOD. The bruschetta platters are nothing shy of impressive, especially when you take into account the variety of flavor options. I usually go for the sweet and savory combinations, but there’s so much to choose from that you can try different combinations every time you go. And don’t even get me started on the steak skewers because I can go on about them all day. Lol
Also, I’m on a strict gluten free diet and I appreciate that they have lots of options that wont upset my stomach. I know it’s tough to eat out when you have dietary restrictions, but this place makes it easy for me. It’s never a problem when I’m craving carbs because I know they do their best to accommodate my needs.
And if you’re on a budget, board and bottle nights (Monday and Tuesday) they have a REALLY good deal.
11/10 would absolutely recommend taking friends or a date here.

I took myself on a solo lunch to get some work done, and I absolutely love and appreciate the hospitality I received from J. J was attentive with my dietary restrictions and was happy to brew me decaf coffee at lunch time. I used to frequent this location fairly often, but this time was different. As a soon-to-be first time mom, being out on a solo lunch was made special as J was so sweet to chat with me and checked on me frequently to make sure I had everything I needed. She went above and beyond to make a normal lunch feel like an experience I wanted to share with others. Thank you for your service J! I will be back to visit soon!

The food here is sub par. The bread is thin and flimsy. My grilled cheese contained random pieces of bacon. What if I was a vegetarian? The sandwich seemed like an afterthought. The panini tasted like wonder bread with crusts cut off containing a confusing mash up of cheeses that didn’t complement each other. The bowl of tomato soup this came with, was served in an 8oz plastic container that was 2/3 full. The cost of ingredients to prepare this meal was not a value compared to the $15.50 it cost. The best thing about the sweet potato wedges was the tahini sauce, the wedges themselves had thick skin on them and the texture left much to be desired. This place was packed when I picked up my order and I can’t understand why. Do young people not understand what a proper sit down meal should look like? Is Tucson’s food scene just sub par? This place left much to be desired, and I’ll never return. The value for food has definitely decreased. I’m not ordering food or dining out anymore.
