I’ve gotta say, from the time I walked in, until I paid the bill, it was a stellar experience! I was greeted well, I had just come in for an afternoon snack & a drink. It was my first time here and the waitress at the bar right away told me about the menu, specials, happy hour and told me that they are known for their homemade Burrata Bread. She offered me a free Burrata bruschetta to try…I what you see here…I’m definitely going to be coming back here before 6p and their happy hour ends…Shaila was great and I look forward to how the full dinner experience goes.

Free parking (In the multi-story parking lot on site)
Friendly staff
Indoor and outdoor dining (Inside feels small)
Modern/new decor
Allowed individual checks
Cons:
Limited menu
Both of us had chicken (different dishes) and it tasted rubbery/unpleasant texture.
Staff could benefit from wearing uniforms/consistent clothing.
$19 for a bowl, plus tip
Took a while for wait staff to return for us to pay and then asked ‘Have you paid’? (!)
I probably wouldn’t return in all honesty.

Positino in Del Mar is such a vibe. The staff were super friendly, the food was actually really good, and the atmosphere was chill but still fun. Definitely one of those places you want to make a reservation for because it gets busy. Would 100% go back.

Went here on a Tuesday for their $30 wine and board special such a great deal! You get four bruschetta of your choice, and they were all delicious. My favorites were the mascarpone & mushroom and the salmon one absolutely perfect with the wine. Super cute spot for a girls’ night or a cozy date. Definitely coming back! ✨

Me and my girlfriend are originally from Arizona but came out to San Diego to visit family over this Valentine’s Day weekend and we love postino in Arizona so we thought we should try it here for our Valentine’s Day meal. I had already had postino about a zillion times but the food was even better than I’ve ever had.
Huge huge shout out to our Server Alex, he was amazing and went above and beyond to take care of us. He even snuck me a rose on the unoccupied chair at our table to give to my girlfriend. (Talk about excellent customer service). On top of that his recommendations were spot on. Any restaurant would be lucky to have Alex on their team. He made our night even more special than it already was.

Really really good. Huge wine list and 6$ glasses all day until 5pm. Food was good. Something’s were memorable others were not. Really good were the meatballs, bruschetta board

Postino Del Mar is one of my new favorite spots. The restaurant itself is super cute and trendy while still being relaxed and chill. When it’s sunny out, their outdoor patio is perfect! They have wonderful service and great happy hour specials. All the food I’ve tried so far has been amazing. I absolutely love their bruschetta boards, they’re so fun and allow you to mix and match the flavors. Other items I’ve really enjoyed are the Crunchy Cauliflower, Roasted Mushroom Fondue, and the Nine Iron Panini. They also have amazing kids plates! I would highly recommend stopping by!

Good food but not fantastic. The service was ok but lacking in a few ways. First of all, the food comes out very fast and they just walk up behind you and drop in on the table (food runner not server) and nobody checked if we needed anything else or if it was as we ordered it. Nobody ever approached to ask if we needed anything additional like condiments etc. atmospheres is really lacking for me, tables are on weird positions and the vibe is more like an airport restaurant than a cozy neighborhood eatery. I’ll just order take out next time

Postino Del Mar – Unbeatable Happy Hour Vibes
We came to Postino Del Mar for happy hour, and it was simply unbeatable. The $7 pitcher of beer is an incredible deal, honestly hard to match anywhere else. They also offer a solid selection of wines, which adds to the laid-back yet refined atmosphere.
We ordered a charcuterie board to go along with our drinks, it looked nice but was a bit underwhelming in flavor and variety. Still, the overall experience more than made up for it.
The ambiance is fantastic, beautifully designed and full of good energy. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual drink or a relaxed evening out, Postino Del Mar is definitely worth the visit.

We went (8 adult and one kid) for late lunch. 9 for one table was little inconvenient. When I tried to make reservation online the option is for 6 people or less. Food was ok. Our group had sandwiches, Greek hummus board, Fish on board, skewers and I had raspberry chicken salad. Sandwiches and salad were like deli food. Our server was amazing. She had smile and very attentive.
