We came after the kitchen was closed and so we did not try the food. The cocktails were interesting and unique. I thought they were well crafted. Despite not being very busy the service was lacking. The servers were not very friendly and we had to motion to them everytime we needed something. Half way through we sat without water or drinks for 10-15 minutes.

Got a wonderful experience with omakase course. They collaborated with Takashi next door. The quality of foods were great and fresh. I gave 4 stars because some courses I didn’t like. The cocktails are really good

Came to the Post Office Place for their limited seating Omakase menu and wowza! I was blown away by the quality of the meal! Takashi himself along with two other chefs were serving us last Wednesday and I can’t believe how amazing the meal was. 15 course of fresh fish prepared in several different ways and each one better than the last. My favorites were the Tokishirazu for the buttery salmon, the Uni for the incredible flavors and textures, and Moqueca for the rich and creamy broth.

I savored every bite I had and would highly recommend giving this a try. The reservations sell out fast and they only have this menu on Wednesdays, so plan accordingly!

The staff were so welcoming and efficient and the restaurant was clean. Can’t wait to go back!

If you’re looking to have that “Lost In Translation” moment after your most recent divorce, this is the place! Arguably the best selection of Japanese whiskeys in the state with delicately refined tapas. The place is classy, grownup, sophisticated with incredible art prints from local artists. Usually they wouldn’t let a lowlife like me into such an establishment, but I have a “special connection” with next door’s head sushi chef. Remember to turn right thru the vestibule!

I don’t drink but the appetizers were really impressive, even though I’m usually picky about seafood. The fish wings and the fried fish skin were both a bit fishy for my tastes but I don’t doubt they are objectively well done. Loved the Scotch Egg and the beef rolls. Compliments to the chef, Simon

I sat at the bar with my book for a date night with myself while on vacation. I ordered some small plates and a few cocktails. The cocktails were unreal! I got the apres ki no bi and the Jo March. Truly so well crafted. Service was quick, and the vibes were fantastic. Will def come back next time I’m in town!

I ordered the steak tartare, pickled veggies, taro scotch egg, and kampachi crudo. I think my very favorite was the taro scotch egg, I mean.. it’s taro and it’s a scotch egg! The chili oil that accompanied it paired well. It was flavorful, but not really spicy. Didn’t care for the pickled veggies and the crudo, both were kinda just.. sour. I did enjoy the tartare, but the flat bread that came with it was really sticky. After every bite, I’d have to scrape the stuff off with my tongue, lol. The flavor was good, but it was really hard to get off of my teeth. Luckily, I carry floss with me.

The server was great! Orders came out pretty quickly, he was knowledgeable, and was super attentive!

This place was so great! Not only the atmosphere but the story and the theme were all spot on. We got the beef chicharrones and then a few sliders. All dishes were delicious!

They had a new bartender working this night and she was super friendly!

When I asked for the manager to discuss my experience tonight, they said “oh that’s Jacob.” When I asked where he was to complain about the abysmal service they said “oh he’s not here.” Jacob if you’re even doing your job: If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. The cocktail was subpar after waiting for 20 minutes, no water given during this 20 minute wait and the staff was very unfriendly and downright rude. I see why this place is a semi-finalist and not a finalist. Take your business to Bar Nohm or anywhere else for that matter. I’d be surprised if this place lasted a year.

I am so glad the lighting is more dimmed and comfortable than it was a few years ago. Drinks were round and balanced, cute, creative presentation. The crudo was fresh and well presented and the beef sliders were delicious. Service was fast and attentive. Will keep coming back.
