The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere. Low lights caribbean and r&b music playing is a good vibe. We went on a Saturday night and definitely enjoyed the DJ. The food was delicious. The crab cake, jerk lamb chops, and shrimp fritters were our favorite appetizers. The bronzino, salmon, and oxtail lo mein(a bit spicy) also very tasty. I will be going back to visit again. Looking forward to their up and coming brunch this summer.

My best friend and I visited this Black-owned restaurant in Westbury, NY for our annual Galentine’s dinner and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, romantic, and beautifully designed.

We started with Red Velvet Lychee Martinis and shared the Oxtail Empanadas—absolutely delicious with rich flavor and just the right amount of heat. For our entrées, one of us had the Creole Shrimp Fried Rice with djon djon black rice, and the other enjoyed the Mediterranean Branzino, which was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned.

Everything—from the food to the ambiance—felt intentional and elevated. It’s no surprise they’re booked up for the weekend. Highly recommend adding this restaurant to your must-visit list. Congratulations to the owners on creating such a classy and memorable dining experience.

The service was attentive and pleasant. The ambiance was pleasant. The lobster tostones were good, FYI very saucy. The fuego dulce drink was great. The truffle max was good. They gave a complimentary glass of bubbly and a cheese puff as a starter complimentary. We were informed there was a 90 min table limit although there were plenty of tables available.

Fantastic experience! Restaurant is beautiful; DJ gave it a fun vibe. Food was delicious & great presentation. We ordered the grilled octopus – delicious & not chewy. The oxtail empanadas were incredible – flakey, and a touch of heat. For dinner we had the short rib Wellington & brick chicken; each came with a side. Additionally we ordered the black rice which was an upscale fried rice. All were delicious, very flavorful & great portions. Our waitress was Marisa who was very attentive & sweet as was the rest of the staff. The owner, Lionel, came to our table & gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary as well as bread pudding. The dessert was incredible!!! We also ordered cocktails but forgot to take pictures. Generous pour & delicious. Smoked Old fashioned & spicy margarita. Needless to say, this is now one of favorite restaurants!! We will definitely be back soon

Absolutely Amazing. The decor, the ambience, the food, the drinks, the service, EVERYTHING was 10/10. We were honestly blown away from my first sip of the Fuego Dulce, named perfectly because it is exactly that!!!

The entire menu is delicious, with familiar foods re-imagined in the most wonderful ways.

Nikkole was the best! She really helped us explore the menu and provided such great insight and care. We can’t wait to go back.

The owners are absolutely lovely. They took their time to curated an experience that is 100% worth every dollar.

Food and ambiance was great. The oxtail empanadas and oxtail lo mein were a bit spicy but overall very flavorful. Lychee martini was perfectly made. Felipe our waiter was also very attentive throughout the evening. 9/10 experience.

My wife and I came here for date night. The ambiance as soon as you walked in was beautiful. We were seated in the back on an elevated section which was very romantic. Our server Nicole was amazing, she had amazing recommendations. We ordered the ox tail empanadas and jerked lamb chops (medium) and they were delicious. My wife ordered the duck lomain and I had the beef rib Wellington, both were delicious. The service was exceptional, can’t say enough about the staff. This is definitely a new favorite spot!

I was pretty disappointed with Post 270. My husband and I went last night to celebrate his 30th, and we had high expectations based on the reviews.

We started with the Burrata Crostini ($25) as an app and it was really just mediocre. We ordered the Branzino Mediterranean ($46) and the Ancho Rub Skirt Steak ($56). The Branzino was decent, flavors could have been better, but overall cooked well. The Skirt Steak was pretty awful. We asked for medium rare, and it was, but it was so charred that that’s all we could taste. There was no other flavor to the steak, just char. We hoped the chimichurri would salvage the meal, but it also had no flavor. The fries were really good though. Disappointing that we paid $50 per meal for pretty mediocre food at best.

We got there at 6:00 and there was a DJ, vibes were fun, but at 7:00 they started blasting music so it was too loud to talk.

Service was really good.

I came to 270 Post for a group dinner and thought the service was great — our server was attentive and friendly. The drinks were good and looked really pretty, but definitely overpriced (a mango margarita was $30 ). I ordered the lobster pasta, which was amazing — super flavorful and came with a lot of lobster. A few of my friends got the chicken, and they all said it was too salty. Overall though, it’s a nice spot with a good vibe. I’d definitely come back

First time here and it was splendid! The food was delicious and the service (Nikki) was top notch. Cocktails had an unusually high quality to them. This is the kind of quality you’d expect in high end restaurants in Manhattan or Brooklyn. Long Island has a gem here!
