1st x there was tonight for their Valentines Day meal. It was great! Food was fresh, hot and they kept the buffet full. It was busy! All staff were very friendly and attentive. No criticism from our party of 2. We will go back. Fun touch, the first so many parties received a Possum Petes metal drink cup with candy and 3 dipped strawberries. So great! Christmas day was my first visit to Possum Pete’s. Is you walk in it’s a small building but it’s adorable. The way they’ve decorated and things was just cute as it could be. Because it was Christmas they were only going to be open from noon to 3:00. And they were busy. Which makes what happened next even worse. We arrived at 12:30 and already a lot of the food was gone. By 1:00 none of the food had been refilled and even more of it was gone. There was very little selection and they had no intention of refilling any of the food. So anybody that came after us had no food to eat. So you were paying for food that literally was not there. At 12:30 the desserts were already gone and we asked them were they going to put more out and they said yes they had some in the oven when we left about 1:30 no desserts or any of the food had been replaced during our entire stay. And honestly the quality of the food was not that good. It was good if you’re showing up at your sister’s house for lunch it is not good if you’re going to a restaurant and paying for it. The Crawfish weren’t spiced in anything they were boiled in salt water. The rest of the food was more like somebody open to can and dumped it in. I was really wanting to like this place. Especially because it was Christmas I was with friends I wanted it to be a wonderful experience for everybody. It wasn’t and I will never go back.
That said our waitress was lovely. There was only one girl working there that day evidently there was an problem with the family so they were short staffed for waitresses. She still managed to refill our drinks and check on us. She was a very nice girl. When we went to the bathroom there was no toilet paper. The member of our party that went first and found out had told a member of their staff that they need a toilet paper. So when I got ready to go there were two rolls sitting outside the bathroom for a customer to carry in. With all those people, ( and only one bathroom, no men and women’s ONE bathroom for One Person! ) there that day they only restocked with two rolls of toilet paper. I love this restaurant atmosphere I love the people and I really wanted to see it make it but I don’t think they understand they’re running a business.

I absolutely love this place!! I order pizzas from here and my family and I absolutely love it. I don’t have one bad thing to say. The pizza is always hot and fresh and the bread sticks are covered in parmesan cheese and soft. I love it. I will always recommend this place to anybody looking for good food. Best pizza in town!!!
