Posh Bagel is the closest thing you’ll get to an authentic New York style bagel deli and cafe in California. Although it’s a chain, every location feels like a mom and pop shop with fresh daily bagels and attention to detail. The Fremont location is owned by a very friendly family.

This place, literally is my favorite sandwich/bagel shop. I’ve been to bougie places in SF and SoCal, and this place always satisfies. My favorite go to is Lox on croissant with everything. I love how the vegetables are always fresh and crunchy. They have so many options and I’ve ordered a lot of other things and have never been dissatisfied. Service is fantastic. The bagels are good, nothing spectacular. If you want spectacular you need to live in NYC. Lived in Brooklyn NY for the first 35 years of my life, nothing compares to a NY bagel but Posh tries their best and comes close. Friendly atmosphere, frequent the place quite often. A bit pricey but what are you going to do, isn’t that way everywhere!
