The creme brûlée was delicious. The custard was incredible, and the brulee coating was perfectly caramelized. It was easily one of the best I have ever had. The drinks were strong and offered good value for the amount of alcohol, which I really enjoyed.
The view from the restaurant was impeccable. Being in a turning restaurant allowed us to see all the waypoints in Montreal, which was an amazing experience. The only downside was the lighting. The lights could have been turned lower because at night there was a glare on the windows, making it nearly impossible to take a perfect picture of the beautiful Montreal skyline.
The wait staff was very kind and attentive. Our waitress always made sure we were taken care of and was quick to answer any questions we had. She paid attention to our table the entire time, which made the experience more enjoyable. The rest of the wait staff was also very friendly, always smiling, quickly taking away finished plates, and making sure our water glasses were full. On the other hand, the hostess, or coat check lady, was not very attentive. She brushed us off when we first arrived, which was not the best first impression. We waited our turn, but a lady from a group behind us was served first. When it was finally our turn, two men came in and asked to be served first, and she allowed it. I understand other customers were being pushy, but it would have been better if she had put her foot down and served people in order.
Overall, it was a fun experience. The food had highs and lows, the drinks and view were excellent, and most of the staff were attentive and kind. With a few adjustments to service, lighting, and certain dishes, this could be a much stronger experience, but it was still enjoyable.
The ambiance was a nice vibe, fine dining with great music and great views of downtown Montreal. The restaurant rotates very slowly, maybe once fully around after 90 min.
Shoutout to our waiter (Oliver), who made our experience even better by taking time getting to know us and sharing fun stories. Very genuine person and excellent service!
We tried the tasting menu and were absolutely blown away by the courses, timing, and service. 100000% will be back, and will recommend this restaurant to everyone going to Montreal!
My waiter was seemingly new as he had issues communicating in english/french and mixed up the names of items multiple times , he named many types of fish for the fish dishes but was uncertain of what they were , finally the second last fish dish with the smoked leek oil was extremely salty , the fish was cooked to perfection but the salt overpowered the whole dish – the final dish being the short rib was fantastic and the highlight of the meal.
The dessert was really disappointing – pieces of maple cookie crumbles with grapes sliced in half and a Natas that is the same you get anywhere in plateau mont-royal amongst some macron – this dessert plate was just thrown together and really nothing made in house I can say that much.
They were missing some portuguese digestives / liquors from Douro region which I requested – I was surprised to know this as they offered me some regular French ones as an alternative .
The view alone makes it all great regardless, this place throws you back in time and remind you of when Montreal was more modest.
I visited Portus 360 with my mother-in-law and my partner, and it was an unforgettable experience. We ordered a tasting-style plate (around $100 per person) that allowed us to try a bit of everything, and it was absolutely worth it.
I’m Mexican and from the Caribbean, and I can honestly say that tonight I had the best octopus of my life—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Every dish was rich, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The flavors are easily five stars.
The service was equally impressive. We were so well taken care of, with attentive staff ensuring everything was perfect throughout the evening.
And then, of course, the views: the restaurant slowly rotates 360 degrees, giving you a full panoramic look at Montreal. It takes about two hours for one full rotation (we were there from 6:45 to 9:30 and barely made one loop), which makes it the perfect setting for a relaxed dinner. I highly recommend booking for sunset—the city looks stunning as the lights come on.
Prices are in line with the experience and quality. Overall, a fantastic combination of great food, amazing service, and beautiful views. Highly recommended!
