I went in for dinner 630-7ish pm. The food was good, the vibe was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Parking here doesn’t really exist so you will have to find street parking nearby. Beautiful place. I like that the servers let you enjoy your meal and company without coming over every two seconds to ask if everything is fine. However you will have to flag them down to come over to you when you need them which i personally liked. Meals at dinner time will run you $20-50. They have many TVs to watch sports while you drink/eat. Very clean. Family friendly environment, but also a really nice date spot too. I hope you enjoy your visit there just as well as I did.

Sometimes service is so-so, other times it is impeccable. My last visit was very lovely, with my food brought out quickly and the attention to our table at a regular level. The food was very delicious, especially the small shrimp and codfish appetizers I got. The combo was also very good, a perfect portion to share with another. My only complaint is that the ribs were a tad tough, but aside from that, I loved the seasoning and flavor of all!

I ordered Salmon Frites with broccoli rabe and broccoli via Uber Eats. Broccoli rabe is an extra $4 and the broccoli is an extra $3. The restaurant got my order wrong by adding potatoes, which is a free item and they took up half the space of the tray. All they had to do was fill up the tray with broccoli rabe and broccoli. It’s not too complicated. The salmon looked careless and butchered. Unfortunate lunch today.

We ordered food from Portugal Express. As you can see by the attached photo, this is what we found in our food, a dead cooked fly! We immediately called the restaurant, no one answered. Called again a few minutes later and left a message asking for a courtesy call letting them know that there was a fly in our food.

A Portuguese pal of mine recomended me about this joint. Great clean atmosphere, lovely hospitality, deliciously great food, ingredients were fresh, and music really made the restaurant lively. Even live sports on some nights along with liquor straight from Portugal gave a heartwarming feeling of what Portugal had to offer. Its worth the drive and I will be coming back for their Paelha!

Nice little hidden gem in Elizabeth. A corner bar and restaurant we have been going to. A family owned business. Inez, the restaurant manager is a sweetheart who always welcomes her regular Patrons. Daily specials and always crowded. Parking is a challenge with street parking spaces. Right off Rt. 1 & 9. Prices are reasonable and generous portions. Update: Things have changed. For the regulars they will know the changes. Update: no changes. A good place. Update: haven’t see the parents (owners) or their children but, familiar staff. Service and food still top notch

The food was absolutely delicious with unbelievable portions. The seafood stew could feed a family of four! The waitress was so nice and friendly.
