Coming in, parking might be a bit tough but there is street parking on all corners and near the dealership. There is a person to greet you, direct you to which line, and make sure the line isn’t backed up which I appreciate.
The menu is pretty self explanatory. There are a few people taking orders. They’ll walk with you down the line of sweets they’ve got, help you pick as well.
The food all tasted great. My steak sandwich was perfect, and I’d come back just for that.
However, if you are vegan, the options are very limited. Also, even for everyone else, the food was just okay. The pastries were fine, but nothing really stood out to me.
We spent close to $70 for five people, which felt expensive for what we got. Because of that, the hype did not match the experience for us.
Overall, it’s not bad, but I personally don’t see why people line up for it.

This is a popular LA Cuban bakery chain. I ordered on-line for pick up at the Burbank store. The parking lot entrance is just before the place with an attendant. There is another lot around the corner.
This place is huge with many display cases and interior seating. It was confusing where to pick up my order since there were several pay stations. Some of the staff kept on doing their work and ignored me when I waited at the wrong counter. The internet pick up is at the back right and indicated with a tiny card.
Excellent pastry at a good value and very repeatable.
The only reason I gave the Atmosphere 3 stars is because it’s always packed — long lines, limited seating, and a bit of chaos inside. But honestly, that just shows how good the place is! We always come prepared to wait, and it’s worth every minute.
Their cheese rolls are hands down the best — perfectly flaky with a sweet, cheesy filling that makes you reach for seconds (or thirds!). A dozen never lasts long with us. Add in their guava pastries, chocolate croissants, and those famous potato balls, and you’ll quickly remember why the line doesn’t matter.
If only there was a Porto’s in my city — I’d be there every weekend!
