I was so impressed by the spot in Salinas near the Steinbeck center. It is very hard to find good gluten-free bread at any restaurant let alone the option in general. I had the tuna out and it was fantastic! They have American style options with some flair. Great decor, and very fair prices. I will be back!

So Portobello’s I haven’t been to in a long time and they’ve come a long way. I came because somebody was singing live music and I can honestly say Portobello’s is fantastic. I ordered the money Burger which was recommended by Ronnie who was our wonderful server thank you Ronnie you’re fabulous. Our table also ordered and I have a picture of the salmon sandwich and I think the Cuban and they were all fabulous thank you so much again Ronnie you you are fabulous

My 3 star is solely based off food. I ordered the 222, eggs scrambled soft, bacon and French toast. Now it’s very possible I missed it on the description, but I had ZERO idea they made their French toast with raisin bread or I would never have ordered it. Having to pick at my food for every bite was not the business. Eggs were not soft and my bacon way too hard.
Other than the French toast, the rest isn’t enough to keep me from trying something else on the menu. I love the atmosphere, music was overpowering, they have a full bar and it’s a great location right on Main

came here today for lunch to try their chicken pot pie .Very tasty.It comes with a salad of your choices. I chose the caesar salad. Plus I got a diet coke .Everything was tasty. The service here is wonderful

Had dinner with friends after track day at Laguna. There is no parking, so need to find parking on the street, which is not easy on a Friday night. Food was delicious and there was a gentleman who serenades the customers periodically. Restaurant has a homey decor and food is reasonably priced and delicious.

My coworkers and I (group of 20) had lunch at Portobello’s and we had a horrible experience. Our server Bianca was very rude from beginning to end. It took an hour for food to be served and a couple orders were wrong. The manager tried ”helping” but her attitude was even worse. Service was disappointing, never going back.

The food was good’ish. Not great nor bad. The sausages are perfect and the rest is fine. The service, while friendly, was spotty in regards to attention. I get the feeling that they are understaffed?? ♂️ Either that or maybe it was just our experience.

My law firm hosted a work 30th anniversary for a co-worker here on April 6th, and we had a wonderful experience. Maynard, the manager, was so great. We discussed the menu ahead of time, and he and his team were very on top of refilling appetizers and drinks for the 22 people at our table. I would absolutely host another event there, and working with Maynard was seamless. Thank you again for helping us host the event and allowing the us to have fun and enjoy ourselves instead of having to worry about all the semantics.

Stopped in for a quick bite bc it was a beautiful day here in Salinas CA, So we opted to sit outside. The staff was very friendly. One of the Chefs stopped at our table on his way out and recommended the quesadilla. I dont eat cheese but I sure was tempted. I had side of coleslaw and a piece of baked chicken, with a lemon wedge and iced tea. Prices were decent.
