The food was fantastic! My takeout was linguine with clam sauce. The dinner portion was great, the sauce had an excellent flavor of garlic, wine and lemon. The garlic rolls were soft and buttery. I got to taste the cheese tortellini, shrimp and vodka sauce, again excellent flavor and the shrimp were done just right. The other entree I tasted was the portobello mushroom ravioli, excellent! I can’t wait to dine in!

Portions Italian in Krum understood the assignment again. We rolled in deep — 10+ hungry, chaotic people — and they STILL knocked it out of the park. Service? Fast and friendly. Food? Chef’s kiss. Even with a big group, everything came out hot, delicious, and somehow perfectly timed (which is basically restaurant wizardry).
If you’re in Krum and craving Italian, trust me… go here. Order anything. Regret nothing.

The food was delicious, good portions and not overly prices. The pizza was sooo good that we brought a second one home to reheat the next day. I had chicken parmigiana and loved it, also brought half my plate for the next day. Definitely worth the drive and will be going back! The only negative is the teenagers that look like they are forced to work there. Our waitress was nice and attentive but the waiter that sat us was not welcoming at all.

Great place in a small town. Excellent grilled chicken salad and their bread is wonderful.

We are traveling across the country and happened upon Portofino’s by accident, but what a happy accident it was. The food is delicious, the service was wonderful, and the prices are exceptionally reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in the area or is just passing through. Thank you, Portofino’s, for a wonderful meal.

Last minute choice to go here on a Sunday evening. 5 in our family & they kindly found space for us even though they were accommodating a 60+ person party.
Pizza, pastas, salads were fresh and delicious. Staff was great. Looked like they have a lot of local regulars coming in to pickup orders to take home. That’s a good sign too! We’ll be back!

Yesterday was my second time eating here and the food is delicious for a reasonable price. First time we had a large meat topping pizza done to perfection. Yesterday I had the chicken Alfredo and my wife had the Italian Sausage Parmesan. Both meals were large enough that we each have 2 more meals. Will be returning to try other options on the menu.

Great stand alone Italian restaurant.
The entree dishes are big servings and are all really good.
Pizza is over the top with a fantastic hand tossed sourdough crust cooked to perfection.
Not to forget.. the veal parm is amazing and NOT paper thin.
Deserts from Carolina to Tiramasu are delightful.
Love this place!

After repeating terrible experiences at this restaurant, I need to revise my review from the 3 stars I gave it originally to a 1 star. If a 0 stars rating were allowed, I would give that. Each time I go the food gets worse and the service moves from bad to terrible to atrocious. The last time we went and actually got seated (skipping the time they had overbooked groups and had us sitting outside as couple after couple who obviously knew the manager got seated until we just left for another restaurant) one member of our party NEVER did get her food. Finally, as we were all leaving, they brought her food which she took with her. Was there ever an apology – no. Did the manager intervene at all – no, in fact when the manager was made aware that there were issues, she simply left. While the service has worsened each time, the food has also gotten worse. Smaller portions, often cold, often not what was ordered. I cannot warn people enough to just stay away.
Original Review in 2024: We went with a group of 10 for a Friday Night Dinner. Service was scattered and the delivery of food was very very very very slow. Although there were several open tables, so not full by any means, it should never take 50 minutes for orders to come. We ordered drinks and they came out slowly as well and were never offered seconds even though things took so long. And, this is a restaurant that can really use some kind of wine menu. We basically had to guess what they had and then the server would go back and look. As for the food, everyone felt very happy with it once it arrived. We all started with the brad dipped into the amazing garlic and oil offered. One of the best bread presentations I have ever seen. For my main course, I had the Sea Bass Maricara, which for only $19 is a steal. In fact, most of the items are priced lower than similar quality restaurant’s food if ordered 30 minutes away in Fort Worth or one of the more established suburbs. The Sea Bass was perfectly prepared and the shellfish on top were as well. My wife had the Spinach Ravioli, which was also done perfectly. Tossed salads wee average. So, if I were judging just food, I would give this restaurant a 4 out of 5. But, judging from the entire experience, the most I can get to is a 3.
