We hosted our Dancing on the Dock event at Porto Bello and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The waterfront setting was absolutely beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable evening.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, from the delicious buffet dinner to the exceptional service throughout the night. Our guests raved about the venue, and the sunset views over the marina added a magical touch.

Overall a great place
Food was okay. Service was average.
Nothing over the edge about the food but the view is amazing.
There is also a bar (I didn’t get any drinks)
We had the fried burrata, oysters (which were large), filet mignon with all sides substituted for plain pasta and cheese, and the penne ala vodka.

Even with a reservation we waited over 90 minutes to be seated… outside. We had a table overlooking the marina, it was a beautiful view. The ambiance was quaint and nautical so we were content. The server was friendly but we waited a very long time in-between courses. He kept apologizing to us, saying they were understaffed. We didn’t mind, we sipped our cocktails, chatted and enjoyed the view. Until 2 hours had gone by, the sun was no longer out and we were extremely cold, sitting on the water after dark, still waiting on our food. The restaurant does not have heaters on its patio. That would have been helpful and cozy. The food finally came but most of it was barely warm. We didn’t say anything because at that point we were beyond hungry. Plus, we just wanted to eat and get out of there to a warmer place.
Food: The meatball appetizer and wedge salad were both delish! The filet mignon with chimichurri was amazing too. Top quality aged beef. The mashed potatoes that all dinners automatically come with were so-so, pretty bland. Salt and pepper fixed that. The onions on the side should have been sauteed or crispy, not soggy like they were. The giant pork chop was very good all around. (you have to like rosemary and other strong herbs seasoning to agree though) The asparagus was boring and plain. They made my son chicken tenders and french fries, both were yummy!
Pros: The place is in a beautiful location, has live music, the outdoor patio seating is spacious, the staff is genuinely friendly, and most of the food tastes very good.
Cons: Long wait times for seating and service from beginning to end. We were there for over 3 1/2 hours. It’s quite expensive. The food presentation is underwhelming and needs some wow factor added to them for what the prices are. $$$
Overall, we do like this place. We were there on Mother’s Day so it was quite busy. We will go back there and give it another try… when the weather is much warmer.

This is a regular spot for our family. Went there last night with 10 people and had an awesome time. We went by boat in the evening and there was plenty of dock space available.
Sandra and Michael were our servers and they did a great job. Drinks were awesome (we had the rum punch, old fashioned, margaritas etc)
We sat outside on a beautiful night and it was such a great atmosphere with live background music.
Food was phenomenal. We had the seafood oasis as an appetizer and some really great meals.

For an incredible experience come to Porto Bello. I was visiting the North Fork and my friends brought me to this seasonal local favorite. The first notable feature of this experience you’re going have is the service; Michael was our server and he knew the menu perfectly, he could describe everything in the food and could recommend substitutes if needed.Second, while eating you have an amazing view of dock with various size boats. I don’t live in an area with views like this so I was blown away. Next was the food itself. Everything thing we ordered off the menu was made fresh. You can see for yourself how amazing the food is with my pictures, and it tasted better than it looks.I was also happy that they had local beer available. You will enjoy this Porto Bello.

This spot is my family’s go-to on the North Fork every summer! It is especially lovely to experience the outdoor seating, but the indoor dining experience is great as well. The food never disappoints and even what you might expect to be the simplest dishes has the greatest flavors. Highly recommend anything on the menu but the family favorite this summer was the Garganelli all Vodka! Can’t wait to go back!

This is our first visit to the area. We arrived off the ferry and we were looking for a place for lunch. We had the muscles for our appetizer. Sorry I didn’t get a picture as we started right in eating. But they were delicious. Then I had the fish (tuna) tacos. Absolutely perfect. Michael, our waiter, was helpful, timely, and friendly. He was wonderful.
So why just four stars. The seating for two outside is not ideal. We had the choice of no shade or seating next to the gas pump and smelling gasoline while we ate. We sat in the sun. The hostess was no help. Plus, the hostess asked what kind of water I wanted. I said sparkling. I received tap. I know, that was not major.
Parking is free, but limited. Pricing is up there. But plan on enjoying it. The views are lovely. I would return and be very specific about where I wanted to sit. The food is worth it.

After hearing about this restaurant on several websites and seeing tons of excellent reviews, I knew this was somewhere I had to stop with my family during a trip in the area. Let me just say, if your anywhere near the area you have to go. The atmosphere was perfect with a view of the water from every seat in the house and the food was amazing from the appetizers to the delicious dessert.

From the hostess who welcomed us (and bid a hearty bye) to the Server who served every other staff – the entire crew – were phenomenal.
I don’t know how I missed this restaurant, to begin with – it’s my home territory per se – but no, regrets at all.
The food is outstanding and does deliver very on local seafood.
The setting by the water with the associated dock is a clear bonus.
I had the Tuna Burger – go for it.
Other goodies include a fantastic Lobster Roll.
Key Lime pie should not be ignored.

Great food and service. And they have child change room too. All menu items are sourced locally and is always fresh. Not close to the main strip but still easy to get to by car. The outdoor seats my wife and I were assigned was right by the water with an amazing view to say the least.
