With Rising Fast Food Prices You would Assume Most Restaurants would Raise the Bar of Customer Service as well. Unfortunately Most Resultants have done the exact opposite. Portillo’s on the other hand continues to have consistent Great Service and Great Tasting Food. Although $68 is a Bit of a Sticker Shock, but at Least your actually getting Great Tasting Food with Great Service.

My first time trying Portillos and it’s one of my favorite fast food chains now. From the hot dogs , fries, and dessert-so good. The inside is cool and retro with ample seating. The chocolate cake is to die for. The cake shake is even better omg. Also, the staff is really friendly. Can’t wait to visit Illinois again just to eat at Portillos.

Excellent quality as always, however with only 1 person in front of me waiting for food plus a light drive through at 2PM, I still waited close to 20 mins. While I would never say it’s not a reason to go, it was the only negative aspect out of the amazing food.

My daughter and I both tried the new Rodeo Burger. Neither of us liked the BBQ sauce. The burger was warm and tasty the toppings were good, but not the sauce. We would comeback for burgers but not the Rodeo.

I don’t know what happened to their fish fillets, but it was horrible. I don’t even think there was fish in it, It was all breading. It was cold, I ordered it without cheese but it came with a cold piece on it anyway. It was tiny, like a flattened nugget. I used to love their fish sandwiches, but I will never order it again. Even the hamburger was small compared to what it used to be.

Portillos is great. Portillos is so great, that everyone knows it. This makes the wait for portillos, not so great but they do move fast. I got delivery most recently and have to say, the food is great but the presentation could be improved. Maybe some hard cardboard packaging would help. Delivered Chicago Hot Dog pictured.

I love Portillos but wouldn’t recommend the Oswego location anymore if you want a Beef. They skimp on the beef to the point it’s not worth ordering. Even our fries were only 3/4 full. The burger was still on point though.
