As a regular, I have noticed the quality and overall value of the food has drastically fallen recently (as others have mentioned). Ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a chocolate cake shake, ended up waiting over 30 minutes yet there were only two other cars in the drive through. Making matters worse, the fries were freezing cold. They tasted like they were from yesterday. The shake was good in the beginning until it started tasting strange. The second half of the shake was strawberry! Disgusting. The final straw besides a cold and bland cheeseburger was the cheese! I have never received a cheeseburger with cold shredded cheese. Never again.

I’ve tried calling regarding my order. They for got 1 of my fries the other order is cold and salty. My daughter said her bacon cheeseburger was cold and the fries was not hot. My biggest disappointment is the half slab of ribs they was not done. I had to put them in the oven To finish cooking I’m too tired to go back to the restaurant. They not answer the phone. $65.00 is too much for food and it’s not fresh and hot

My family and I first time visiting Chicago. We ordered ahead for pickup. I ordered 3 Italian beef sandwich combos with fries and drink. It did not disappoint. It was really good. 10 out of 10.

This is the Portillo’s near my house in oak lawn. It was so disgusting coming in… so many violations. There is no sanitation here. I no appetite of eating here after seeing all this. How can the supervisor permit these rugs that are on the floor to be on a table? And these condiments all mixed with one another… It can cause an allergic reaction. And the trashcans vomiting the trash. But the worst part is seeing chemicals exposed near the food. This green bag on top of a cooking glove right by the hot dog station. This was such a mess, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! These pictures are from August 17th at 8:00 pm. I decided to share this with you so you can be mindful of what you are eating and I hope corporation does a better job with there managers and supervisors.

First time visiting a Portillo’s and I was very happy and impressed.
The decor is wonderful , service was very helpful as we were first time visitors.
We had classic Chicago Dogs, Italian Beef (Dipped) of course and tried the chili dogs.
All of it was amazing. This is a nice chain and I hope it continues to grow!

Unfortunately my experience was less than satisfactory. Each experience is getting worse than the previous experience. That is why I had no desire to give my money and energy to PORTILLOS IN 2025. Looks like the remainder of 2026 will be a repeat of 2025

Just a broiled chicken sandwich ? Entered the line to place my order @ 513 pm. Finally my # was called @ 543 pm.
Portillos is not worthy of waiting for 30 minutes for just a sandwich. Take out !
Again nothing else. No fries, no drink nothing but a broiled chicken sandwich.

95% of the time when I purchase Portillo’s,
I typically order an Italian beef dipped with sweet peppers, onion rings, and a drink. This time I was disappointed with my sandwich. The meat and bread were barely wet, definitely not dipped. I only received 1 long sweet pepper on the sandwich. A sad surprise and disappointment. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Your store has stolen my money. I am calling your location to rectify the issue and am being disconnected every time. Let everyone be aware. This location failed to deliver my order and will not take phone calls. They WILL steal your money.
Included is a screenshot of the multiple times I have called (so far) and been disconnected by their service. Portillo’s has specifically engineered it so you CANNOT get in contact with them to fix a mistake. This location has stolen my money and I will be reporting the fraud.
