Gives you that old timey garage feel. Very homey/cozy. Foods a tad pricey on some stuff. One coney dog is 5.19$. The place is VERY clean and spacious,a lotta open area to sit and move around. When you walk in theres a kiosk where you can order similar to what they have at McDonalds and Taco Bell now. Theres even seating outside under a awning so you wont get wet. After entering you’ll notice a grab and go area with different merchandise and food snacks, cake, condiments, aprons, hats its pretty neat reminds me of the booth at In n’ Out.

I love the vintage signs, and tins that adorn the walls, gives it a rustic homey feel. Kinda like your eating in your dads garage or something. Food took about 5 mins. Onion rings were hot and crispy to perfection and were delicious. I also got a coney dog, was a little messy but all good coneys are!

My husband got a double charbroiled burger and he couldnt finish it cause it was so big! We thought it would be smaller but were a little shocked to see it as big as it was on the order screen. We also got a chocolate cake shake, and i was a little skeptical when they said theres a whole slice of cake whipped in, but on the first sip you IMMEDIATELY get cake pieces, tad thick sometimes so makes it a little difficult to get out the straw but was a very good experience. Food was good, we left full and didnt spend a fortune!

Great experience and a great customer service, I kind of like this location compared the one in Sterling Heights. It’s more closer and convenient to where I live. I love how Portillo’s has that nice vintage garage feeling type atmosphere. All I ordered was the Big Italian Beef and a small fries and onion rings and I didn’t think it would fill me up like that. Both the Fries and Onion Rings were fresh and crispy. For me the Italian Beef has to be big and messy with the gravy all over it and has to have the sweet peppers and the Giardiniera peppers. If not I’m doing something wrong.
I’ll definately be back!! Thank you to the staff!!

This place offers a great charbroiled burger that tastes as good as if you grilled it yourself. Huge beef patties, the grilled onions were an added flavor. I had a double cheeseburger combo with fries and a drink which cost $17, a bit pricey but worth it for the quality and quantity of food they provide. It’s a perfect place to take the family, as they have a huge variety of shakes and plenty of space to dine in and they also have a covered patio area for the summer months. It’s a 10/10 I definitely recommend.

The Italian Beef & Sausage is awesome. SERIOUSLY! THE TASE IS SECOND TO NONE OTHER AROUND. The secret in the Sausage is the Fenel Seed. Unmistakable delicious. The peppers, side of cheese snd fries.. and a ice cold Coca Cola fountain Drink.

Wonderful location, ample of parking spots, public washroom available. $10 promo was not available but the flyers were on each and every table which was misleading. Kiosk ordering is available. Store closes at 11 pm. Kiosks were open at 10:15 pm but we were unable to checkout and ended up ordering at the counter. Friendly staff. Drinks and desserts were self serve. Upon selecting, Beef sandwich it automatically comes without peppers or cheese and we have to add it separate.

Really good burgers and hotdog and sausages. A lot to choose from chicken sandwiches, fish sandwich salads and really good desserts too. The strawberry shortcake was good as well. Great memorabilia atmosphere as well. Even if you had a large party of 12, there was a lot of seating too.

Clean restaurant and bathrooms, delicious food, friendly workers, a wonderful experience! We had Italian beef dipped (still and bit dry for our tastes), fries which were crispy with the perfect amount of salt. And for dessert, we had a chocolate cake shake. It is really good but everytime we get one here, 90% of the cake is in the bottom.of the cup instead of mixed in (took one star off for that). Still yummy.

Last night, all I could think about was a Chicago-style polish sausage. We pulled into the drive-thru with barely ten minutes to spare before closing, fully aware we were cutting it close. The team let us know it would take a few extra minutes since they’d already started putting things away for the night—and honestly, I was just grateful they were willing to make it at all.
When the order was ready, the manager handed it to us with such genuine kindness and professionalism. It was the complete opposite of what you might expect so close to closing time, and I truly can’t express how thankful I was for that grace.
And the polish sausage? Absolutely flawless—the best I’ve ever had there. Perfectly hot, with that ideal snap and crunch, and fresh toppings layered just right. It was clear that care and pride went into every detail, even at the very end of a long day.
Thank you to the incredible staff and manager for going above and beyond and truly making my night. Small moments like this leave a lasting impression, and I’m so grateful.

Good impression on first visit. Chicago style hot dog was tasty. Crinkle fries were hot and perfectly crispy. If you miss Bill Knapp’s chocolate cake, you need to try this cake (it’s delicious).
