First time ordering a cheeseburger. It was good but I’ll stick to the Chicago hot dog. Dipped Italian beef also is a great choice. The decor is cool in this location. The park lot is another story, way to small. Only one way out, inconvenient when busy.

Portillos has always been a family favorite. Since I have moved away from the Chicago area, we only get to go when we visit. The food was awesome, and the place was clean. The drinks were self-serve, which was nice to see. The parking lot was easily accessible.

We had another great meal at Portillo’s. It was my first time at the Batavia location. Got my normal chicken sandwich with their awesome crinkle cut fries. Thankfully my dining partner got their onion rings- I forgot how good these are. Here’s to wishing someone does a fry/onion ring side combo soon! Special shout out to Kaci for the amazing customer service.

Are you even from Chicago if you don’t know your Portillo’s order by heart? They did change the drinks by having a self serve kiosk with the drinks now.

Great food and quick service, as usual. My only complaint was that the girl at the beer counter was very condescending. Guilting is for buying beer at a “fast food restaurant.” She asked if I’d order beer at McDonald’s. I pointed out that they don’t sell beer. She shouldn’t have been in that cashier position if she had issues with people drinking with dinner. Weird.
