When I was there there was great staff very attentive and as you can see from the food pictures, the presentation was awesome. We were there on a Thursday so it was pretty empty but the staff was if they were ready for whatever.

My wife took us here for my birthday and I was an excellent experience. Easy parking at Studio Park(ing), which you can get validated for $5 at Portico. Service was amazing and want to thank Landri for being our waitress. Thank you to Alli for being a great hostess and Bri for being attentive as we waited in the front to get our parking ticket validated. The decor was beautiful and the vibes were just right. Our food was absolutely delicious. Prices were also very reasonable for it being a downtown restaurant. Prices ranged from $12-$24. A must try when you head downtown!

Really good service. Loved the atmosphere inside and was open and inviting. Like most others have said the charcuterie board was quite good (comes in two sizes). Wife really liked the hush puppies, they had a good crunch and weren’t dry. The potato latkes we’re pretty good initially but not so much once they got cold (we ordered a bunch of food). The mushroom bruschetta was also pretty good but could get soggy if not eaten relatively quick. The deep fried feta ball on the side was a nice addition and certainly added to the bruschetta. The turkey ravioli had a really good sauce but I think the polenta gets lost. We finished with the sweet potato macarons. Overall felt like this is a great addition to the restaurant scene downtown. It’s a nice addition you can venture upstairs to their rooftop deck when done.

Well executed and creative dishes. Several options on the menu are mostly traditional for those who aren’t risk takers, but there are plenty of creative dishes for those who are. They were also very generous with complimentary amuse bouche and aperitif, which was unexpected. Favorite dish of the night was the mushroom bruschetta appetizer. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it really blew my mind.

Outstanding experience. The food was terrific and service was outstanding. The desserts we’re outstanding. This is a definite “do again” restaurant.

Food was great, we had a relatively large party that they originally sat at an awkwardly large table that seemed like it was more so intended as a shared workspace than a dinner table. They were accommodative and moved us which was much appreciated.

I came to Portico with my family to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our experience was absolutely amazing in every way possible. I love the style of furniture and interior design of the space which was actually my main motivation for making a reservation (my husband and I are furniture buffs). The food was DELICIOUS—the cornbread crab hush puppies, the latkes, the bread plate, and especially the Poulet d’Portico sandwich were absolutely to die for. Not to mention the sweet potato macaroons & the complementary sample/cocktail at the beginning of our meal. Our server, Liz M, was sweet and accommodating (& had the most precious southern accent). Our visit to Portico was, hands down, the best dining experience I have ever had in my entire life. Highly recommended!

I cannot express how much I adore this restaurant. The new manager is dynamic and her approach to customer service is second to none. The entire staff here, day and night, are truly good people as well.

I ate here multiple times during my stay and they made the experience. I cannot stress or recommend this restaurant enough. The service is amazing and food is beyond delicious. The alacrity for service, coupled with nice, down to earth and brimming with class staff is something locals and visitors need to experience.
