Plenty of options, mostly seafood based but a small selection of meat and vegetarian options available. A bit more expensive than some surrounding restaurants, but the seafood was extremely fresh.
I had the mushroom tagliatelle which was extremely tasty, my husband enjoyed a mixed seafood starter and red snapper and said its the best seafood he’s ever had.
Just be aware, they only take cash – they said they call everyone with a booking, but we didnt recieve a call, and we didnt have the €150 in cash needed. Fortunately, there’s a cash machine nearby, but this ceased to work straight after we got our cash! Could have been an embarrassing night!
Other than that nic place and good food.
What made the visit even more special was the exceptional service. Andrea, our waitress, was outstanding! She was kind, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the entire meal. Her warm personality and genuine hospitality truly stood out.
If you’re a seafood lover and appreciate excellent service, this is the place to go. Thank you, Andrea, for making our day greateful.
We started off with the Polpetti di Neonati and Fried Calamari, and they were absolutely excellent — fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. This really set our expectations high for the rest of the evening, and we were genuinely excited for the star of the night: the Carbonara.
Unfortunately, that’s where things took a turn. As soon as we tried to dig into the pasta, we noticed that it was all clumped together, almost like one big mass. It wasn’t just one plate — it happened to every single one of us, which immediately left us disappointed. It’s such a shame because Carbonara should be silky, creamy, and well-coated… not stiff and stuck together.
What made the experience worse was that no one from the staff approached our table to ask why we had left most of the portion untouched. A simple check-in would have made a difference, but instead, it felt like no one cared to know whether we were enjoying the food or not.
Another big let-down was the guanciale. It was pretty clear that it had been mixed with pancetta, as the taste varied from bite to bite. The flavor was inconsistent, which really impacted the authenticity of the dish. And while the cheese wheel presentation looked great, it sadly felt more like a gimmick than an actual flavor enhancer — the carbonara itself barely carried any of that rich cheese taste.
I walked in excited, expecting a memorable Carbonara night with friends, but left genuinely disappointed. The atmosphere itself was lovely, and that’s honestly the only redeeming factor. It’s such a pity because this could have been a fantastic experience, but the main dish — the highlight of the evening — simply didn’t live up to expectations.
Only downside: although we had reserved an outdoor table, we were initially told to sit inside.
After complaining, we waited about 15–20 minutes until a table outside became available.
Overall, a nice experience.
