Must be a popular place cause there was a line when I went there. It was tasty food. I am happy that they sell beer. The brisket was delicious and the chili too. The chili was a little thin and the baked potato was a little old or something. It has no fluff to it. Service was normal. Got the vibe one of the guys there didn’t want to be there but he wasn’t rude or anything. It’s a small little place to dine in with country rockish background music. Place was clean and comfortable enough though. It was $55 for two people with 2 meals, drinks and desserts. The banana pudding was also really good. The line was a little narrow for a wheelchair and the drink fountain a little high but otherwise it was flat and level. No stairs to get in.

This place is a bit of a mixed bag.
The place was generally clean but a bit compact which makes it seem cluttered.
The wait staff was decent – one walked me through the menu well, but was also rushing me to order. The other pressed me for a tip before getting any food, which was really off-putting.
It was pretty expensive, but that’s barbecue, so I can live with that.
I ordered the brisket sandwich and a pint of Katie’s famous banana pudding. The brisket was absolutely off the charts, easily a 9 out of 10. Some of the best brisket I’ve had.
My buddy tried the “Johnny’s Special” platter and ribs. And the ribs, which he shared with me, were about a 6 out of 10 – slightly undercooked but still decent.
Unfortunately, Katie’s banana pudding was a big letdown!!! No actual bananas!!! just banana-flavored whipped cream…. maybe a 3 out of 10.
Overall, the brisket alone would have been a 5 out of 5, but everything else was more like a 3.
I’d come back just for that brisket, but the rest was pretty average.

Not busy when I went but love this place. New favorite place to go after the gym. Great pulled pork and staff was exceptional

The food was meh overall. The sides were disappointing and overpriced — $4 for watery mac and cheese that was basically shells in a thin béchamel sauce. The coleslaw was bland, just cabbage and carrots without any real seasoning or vinegar. The meat was decent and the buns were fine, but nothing memorable.
Most of the menu items were sold out on a Saturday night, which doesn’t make sense for a BBQ spot. The three employees behind the counter didn’t seem very engaged or welcoming. A small touch like a pickle or garnish would go a long way. Prices keep going up, but the quality isn’t following.

Popped in for a last minute date night. Split the brisket, baked potato, Gouda Mac and cheese, and some bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. The food was delicious and quickly made it to the top bbq option in our area. Service was great, both Nicole and Elijah were friendly and knowledgeable making it a relaxed and enjoyable experience. The variety of sauces added a nice icing to the meal. My favorite is the Gouda Mac and cheese but those poppers with the original sauce were close seconds. The brisket was so tender and full of flavor. We will definitely be back!

Each week I am trying a new ‘Smoked’
BBQ eatery. I gave Porter’s a solid 8 out of 10….Cory was professional 100% – the menu does not offer a sampler (they should rethink) Cory without skip created a sampler plate!!! See pictures, I highly suggest you order the sampler-good value delicious all around. I am excited to return……Lara was a great compliment to Cory!

I stopped in and was met 2 amazing people on the staff, both those young ladies were helpful, informative, and sooo hospitable that I felt like I belonged there. It was the 1st time I had been there, I will definitely be back!!! Today I had the most perfectly baked bake potato, it was fully loaded and I had the brisket on this one…OH EM GEE, everything was sooo delicious!! (Had to go at that monster 3 times, very filling and so worth it) I did get it to go, but I couldn’t resist sitting down and trying it. Thank you ladies for the service!!!

Wow, 5 stars down the line.. why a 4 star rating? Glad you asked! Their food was excellent! Atmosphere was fun and service was friendly… But for the price the amount was tiny. I actually left hungry. That is the only reason I can’t give a full 5 stars. When I spend $18 for food I expect enough to be at least close to full. I do recommend trying the food because the flavor was excellent.

I ordered the 1/3 lb pulled pork sandwich and a side of their Gouda mac & cheese and both were delicious! Very friendly and fast service from Whitney and Nicole! Will definitely be back!

Ok so all the meats are sold by the pound. I had a half rack of the St. louis style ribs they were a bit dry. The original sauce is tangy and a little bit sweet. I also had the lean brisket. I would not recommend that maybe the marbled brisket is better. We had a baked potato with cheese and bacon, and that was the star of the show. All the food was served lukewarm.
The restaurant itself was nice and clean and the staff was nice and helpful.
But overall, the food is just average nothing is come across town for.
