A cozy spot with places to sit. Can be tight but we found seating each time. The food was yummy and served hot. The chicken sandwich was good. Breakfast is best in my opinion. Had a great vanilla latte. Simple but well made. We enjoy stopping by and hope to again soon.

To preface this: I travel professionally for a living, and have been inflight over plenty of holidays during the last decade of my life. I understand working holidays isn’t necessarily where anyone wants to be.
My mom was accompanying me on a cross-country relocation drive and we’d been on the road all night into Christmas Eve. Porter’s had great reviews, and we needed a pick me up, so I picked it as our breakfast and caffeine stop.
We ordered a large coffee (the Kenya blend), and it had great flavor- but when my mom asked to try it, the sample she was given was cold. As I continued with our order, she let the girl know the pot may be old, and we asked if they were planning to make a fresh pot soon as she had really enjoyed the flavor.
The young lady in the improperly fitted, dirty grey sweatshirt with pimple patches on her face only outdid her gross and poor appearance with an even more gross and poor attitude and response. Instead of just answering my mom, this teenager elected to divert her attention to another young lady. They whispered, laughed, gave some standard angsty teenage eye rolls to my mom, before inevitably returning to condescendingly offer a pour over “since she needs it a certain temperature” (hot coffee? Groundbreaking).
My mom gratefully accepted and thanked them for going out of their way to do that. She missed the clear social cues, but as a retired teenage girl myself- I didn’t. My mom later re-approached the counter to purchase more cream cheese for her bagel and was treated the same way (again) by the same young lady at the register.
The food had great flavor and the house made syrups did as well. Crystal would do well to ensure the quality of her food is better reflected in the quality of her front of house staff. It doesn’t matter how great any of it is if your adolescent baristas treat customers like their lesser high school peers.
Maybe it’s hard to find a kind and considerate work force in Nowhere, Ohio (pouring coffee and heating sandwiches sounds daunting, imagine having to actually be nice to customers as well)- but I wouldn’t go out of my way off 70 to hit this spot again. Throw a rock and hit a coffee shop around here, maybe they’ll be nicer to you.

This small coffee store was impressive with a decent bakery. There were few seats inside their beautiful room and WiFi was fast. It could be a good place to do some laptop work. Service was fast and friendly. Drive-thru was available. My iced latte was decent. Also, I tried their cranberry cookie. The cookie tasted phenomenal with abundant cranberries. The sweetness was perfect without too much sugar. There were also some authentic and attractive desserts on the shelves.

We used to love their lattes here so much! At one point we were coming everyday. We have gone three times over the last few months and each time we have to throw out our drinks. It might seem crazy to give the coffee that many chances but we really did love it that much. I’m not sure if they changed the oat milk?
The second part to this, which I could put up with when the coffee was really great, is the customer service. I truly cannot explain how much I hate interacting with the staff here.

What a cool place to get a coffee!! I’ll definitely come back with more time to appreciate the high variety of coffee. Really. They have a lot!
The only down size is the staff. Did not feel welcomed and the fact that English is not my first language made me feel like they were even more impatient. I saw a few people before me having their orders and it felt they were slightly patient.
But I’ll come another time, a different day, maybe I’ll have luck!

Today was my first time ever seeing or going to porters and it’s amazing!! The coffee is perfect and not too sweet and I love the taste of the espresso. The service was friendly and the drive-thru (I didn’t notice until I seen someone pull up) was very convenient. The bagel is absolutely perfect and the best breakfast sandwich I have ever gotten from a coffee shop before. So much flavor and everything tasted so fresh. I will 100% be back!

Hands down the BEST coffee house ! I wish there was one in Lancaster, but it’s definitely worth the drive. The list would be too long if I mentioned everything I’ve had there that is soooo good! The staff is always friendly and the drinks are consistent every time unlike Starbucks. My daughter loves the cinnamon rolls. We’ve never had a bad or even mediocre experience here. It’s got a cute and cool atmosphere as well.

This is my first time at this location, as I’ve been to the other. Before you go inside, you will notice there’s a drive thru (which the other one doesn’t have). This place has character like the other. It’s a great place to meet up with someone. There are different seating places. While I was here, I ordered a chicken salad and my favorite drink, the Islander. They have some great coffee, hot iced and frozen selections, some cookies, pastry, and some other things to eat. The place had a positive and uplifting vibe. The staff is sweet and fun. I definitely plan to return. I plan to return. It was pretty packed the day I visited with some friends.

We pulled in to Porters’ second location and highly recommend a visit. There’s ample parking, the menu is plentiful, and the baked goods delicious. I really liked the chic interior—good for a quick pop by. We opted for two specialty drinks: regular caramel nut and the pumpkin spice latte with oat milk. Best pumpkin spiced drink I’ve had—it was only subtly sweet (I don’t like sweet drinks so this was perfect) and the oat milk was thick and foamy. To go full fall, we ordered the iced pumpkin scone and took it to go to enjoy in the park. Will be back!

The ladies working are very sweet and uber friendly. One lady order her favorite drink for me and I’m glad she did. It’s amazing, it’s hot, just the right amount of sweetness. So delicious. Thank you for being open when I needed my coffee fix and helping me decide on a coffee ❤️ I will definitely be coming back
