I got a chicken Philly. The chicken was dry the mushrooms and onions tasted like they should have been in a soup and not on a sandwich. This was our 1st time here and I felt like it was the cashiers 1st night on the job. She acted very confused when we asked her questions. Then my son didn’t get his cup for his drink until she brought us our food…. because she forgot to give it to him when we ordered. 16.00 for a burger and fries… 18.00 for my chicken Philly…
The name sounds like the food would be too notch but it definitely was the opposite! Over cooked and over priced! That was our 1st and last time eating at this establishment! No thank you!

This is for the High Point location in the Palladium Shopping Center.
There is plenty of free parking available in the large stripmall with ADA compliant parking spots out front.
We weren’t sure of what the experience was going to be at this location, and we were pleasantly surprised with the experience. A combination of sit down restaurant and fast food. This location had the quality of a solid good “mom & pop” restaurant with the pricing of a fast food restaurant. (*Considering the prices for what fast-food burger is now at $9-$10)
The burgers were made with fresh ingredients, and the flavor profile was uniquely good. If you are looking for everything on your burger, try the “Big Lebowski” it truly has EVERYTHING and the kitchen sink on this burger. The sides are equally as amazing, with examples like the fried pickles and the mac and cheese. These are baseline American fare food done at the best level.
The kitchen can make dietary adjustments. I ordered my Philly in a wrap versus a bun, and it came out perfectly perfect!
The service was excellent. Even with a full house, and this is normal for this location, the staff was able to bring and bus my food tray after my meal. This is better than some sit-down restaurants! The food came out as expected with food made to order, and staff was extremely friendly and professional. They were VERY helpful with explaining all of the burger and sides for someone experiencing the restaurant for the first time.
I loved this place so much that I went back the very next day to eat again. It was just as good! And they remembered me from the day before, now that is connecting with your patrons!
Pro-tip: Make room for the apple-pie egg rolls that come with ice cream. Vanilla ice cream that comes with it is next level.

Came in for the lunch and the lady working was extremely polite and welcoming! Helped make recommendations when torn between so many good options! Ordered my food and was asked how I wanted it cooked and it was cooked as promised. The food was good and the tater tots were cooked perfectly! Lots of drinks and beer options! Was clean and the lady working kept up on turning tables over. Will be back for sure!

I really like this place when they get our orders right. Sometimes it takes 30-40 minutes for our food. That really isn’t the problem because we friends there to catch up on life. The orders are just a hit or miss. The employees some are great and some are not. When you have different personalities and people on staff that don’t have same vision and goals it a train wreck. Maybe it’s the management? I have never seen a person orchestrating the operations at this or any porter house location.
The New Garden location is all take out. I am not paying top $$ for a leftover burger.
I sometimes wonder if there’s more focus on to-go orders than people present in the restaurant? Again, I have never seen or know who the manager is at these locations.

Just got the basic burger. Cooked to my liking and plenty of toppings. The fries were top notch. Regular were Crispy and salty. The sweet potato came with a dipping sauce that was really tasty. They need to come to Maryland.

Have been to a couple quarter house burgers in Greensboro both of them have been excellent burger flavor of meat is definitely a good quality and can taste the difference. Always cooked to my liking medium. Great deals different times of the week. Not always in Greensboro but eat here once a week if I had the chance. Great burger worth the price. The homemade chips are amazing also. Service at both places has been extraordinarily nice. Serving time is very decent also

Today was my first time visiting this burger shop. I waited quite a while for my burger and onion rings. Due to the length of time I thought all the food would be hot. I was wrong. And to make matters worse I was the only customer so what took so long?
The meat was hot but the bun and onion rings were cold. Eventhough the food had good flavor, cold onion rings are not a favorite.
Will I visit again? Possibly. If I do I will request that all the food is hot!

I’ve gotten takeout many times and the food is always fresh and delicious. They have a good selection of soft drinks and their potato chips are really good. The prices are reasonable too. The service is also great. The staff is friendly and efficient, and they always get my order right.

The customer service is excellent. The fish sandwich was very good. The salad was fresh and green! My hubby had a patty melt and said it was average at best and the fries were unimpressive. However, they do have a large menu so perhaps he’ll find something he likes better next time. The place is very inviting and kid friendly.
