Porterhouse new location @ New Garden. $7 Mondays. Need I say more. Order ahead, small area but burgers are still exceptional. This spot is more than just a place to eat; it’s a culinary adventure that leaves you craving more. Whether you’re a meat lover or a plant-based enthusiast, this burger haven is undeniably the best in Gboro, serving up sheer bliss with every order. Did I mention the $7 burgers on Monday’s, fountain drinks extra. Come hungry!!

Place is great! $5.95 burgers on Monday is an awesome deal considering how much fast food(McDonald’s) is these days. Brandon up front was super nice, professional and accommodating. He helped guide me through the menu. I got the bacon & beef burger and it was delicious. Also their fries were fresh and not too greasy or salty. The interior is cute, quint & clean. What more could you ask for? I like the location off New Garden & there is specific parking spots available for to-go orders. I’m stoked they opened a boutique spot near my neighborhood. You can technically eat inside and face a window but it’s more of a to-go spot. Go here for the Monday special or any day of the week but Tuesdays bc they’re closed that day. It’s Ok. Went to Porter House – Saturday Nov 1st 11:30AM-because I had a coupon. Buy one get one free burger with purchase of 2 drinks. Refillable drinks were $5.00. Burgers $15-18 with side. Receipt show ed $13 off total. Not completely free. Did splurge on sides. 4 bucks extra. Asked for Chili on side for the smother tator tots and fries. At home no Chili. Total came to $30 with tax. Was the meal worth $30. No. Fry’s &, Tator Tots as good as my air fryer. Maybe a bit better. Burgers are not worth $13 at all $7-8 at best. It’s OK. Better choices to choose from.

This is Togo only. Ordered at the register. Waited for the food. 5 minutes to home. Hot chips were cold. The buns and bread was not hot or toasted. Cheese wasn’t even melted. The only thing that was good was the burger. That and the service saved a lower post.

Hands down, the worst mushroom Swiss burger I’ve ever had. It did have a few mushrooms and a slice of Swiss. That was it. No sauce with mushrooms. No mix with onions or literally anything. The only reason to give the 2 stars was the patty used was the decent quality of meat. Otherwise, nothing special, rather dry, and certainly not “Porterhouse” quality…

Consistently excellent burger and friendly service at this location. The burger is meaty and juicy, bread and buns are well above average, veggies are always fresh and crispy. Chunky, savory fries deserve a special mention, but interestingly I always get bigger portions of them at Pisgah Church location. Toppings are excellent, but I would like to have even more options, for example fresh mozzarella or eggplant spread for a bit of Mediterranean flavor.
The two improvements I could suggest overall is to please work on getting food out faster and to please increase the selection of toppings. Being a strictly take-out joint, I expect to not have to wait as long for the food when ordering online in advance. Sometimes I’m in a terrible hurry but get stuck here for 15 extra minutes waiting for my order (when submitting it 20 minutes ahead). Not as bad as Melt, but a close second.

I ordered 2 burgers each came with a side. With tax it was almost 40.00. The burgers were very subpar. McDonald’s would have been as good. That is an absolute rip off. Will never return.

Put in an online order for the pulled pork egg rolls meal with chili cheese fries. I put special instruction for utensils and condiments. While the staff was friendly and the food was tasty. No utensils were included and no ranch, for the fries or dipping sauce for the egg rolls. They normally come with a honey mustard and sweet and sour sauce. Will likely be back but please make sure sauces and utensils are included especially when requested.
