Ordered the rotisserie chicken & goat cheese burger. Both were very delicious, although the fries were on the colder side. We arrived during a busy time but I would say our drinks and food came at a decent time!

I recently visited Porter Creek Hardwood Grill with some friends and we had a fantastic meal. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed every bite.
The Crispy Goat Cheese Balls were a definite highlight, starting our dinner on an amazing note. For our main courses, the salmon was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, while the chicken was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The beef ribs were also a favorite—they were wonderfully marinated and so tender the meat just fell right off the bone.
The only low points were the Bowl, which was unfortunately not up to the same standard as everything else, and the lemonade, which was so sweet it was almost undrinkable.
Overall, it was a great dining experience with just a couple of minor exceptions.

I had a great experience tonight at Porter Creek. I came in town on business and arrived at 9:15 PM. They close at 10 PM but the nice bartender Taylor welcomed me in and quickly got me a menu. Nice surprise, after 9 PM evidently it was happy hour so it was half price appetizers and drinks, including glasses of wine.

I had a side salad, which was good, Aji tuna which was OK but needed more sauce and some flavor, and I had the rotisserie wings, which were awesome! Their wine list is actually quite good and they have some good wines by the glass too, so I was able to try a couple new options at half price which was great.

Very nice vibe at the bar, clean and professional setting, very good food and service and drinks. Highly recommended.

Went in for dinner with a couple friends last Friday and had a pretty decent experience overall. The place has that classic American menu with burgers, ribs, and a few pasta options. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries, and it was cooked just how I asked, medium with a little pink. Fries were hot and crispy, maybe a bit salty but still good. Our server checked on us a few times and kept the drinks refilled, which I appreciated. It did get a little loud once the dinner crowd came in, but that’s kinda expected. Nothing over the top fancy, just solid food and a comfortable spot to hang out for a while.

This is probably one of the better restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. The service was absolutely outstanding. And the food was absolutely amazing good value for the price especially considering I would say this is a higher end restaurant. Did not have to wait long at all for appetizers or the main course and everybody was super friendly and helpful. We’re definitely going to be back here again in our future travels and going to recommend to our friends to also come here to eat. Good job to all the guys and gals working here don’t change a thing and keep doing exactly what you’re doing.

Lovely patio, although we sat just inside with the big doors open. Very nice cozy atmosphere. Relaxing, music not blasting! Service excellent. I had the salmon served with mashed potatoes; both excellent, but the mashed potatoes were over the top! I would never had thought I would love mashed potatoes like that… even asked the server why they’re so good… it was a chef’s secret! My husband had the hot roast beef on ciabatta bun, served with grilled vegetables. I had a taste of both and also excellent! Real nice carved roast beef with au juice. You can enter from the front or back ( back approaches the patio).

Took my mom to Porters creek for Easter Sunday and the food was incredible. My mom had a few issues with what she had ordered but the mistake was rectified with swiftness. The female manager came and inquired about the situation and brought out a new meal for my mother. The customer service was impeccable and the atmosphere was friendly to say the least. Thankfully we made reservations! The restaurant was very busy on a Tuesday evening. We sat in “the middle ” located in the bar area next to the open concept kitchen where our server was the bartender who did a fantastic job. Everything was fine, the only miss was that there was no bread service or at least none offered. We had a steak and walleye and everything was as described and presented perfectly. Wines by the bottle were half price! Nice offering of wine and dinner salads with pricing of the menu perfectly aligned with the community. We definitely will be back.
