Perfect restaurant to host a family event. I hosted a baby shower at this location over the weekend and it was beautiful. We made arrangements a little more than a week out, and the staff was on it. They even printed personalized menus for our prix fixe menus.

We had 20 people on the patio and had a wonderful time. Food was fresh and delicious. Guests enjoyed the ambiance. Alyssa, Rosie and our server David, took excellent care of us. No one wanted to leave. Lol

I would recommend this location for brunch, dinner, a baby shower, bridal luncheon, Bachelorette brunch, literally any family gathering. For extra personal touches, reach out to their team directly. They’re awesome.

This restaurant is a great spot for a relaxed meal. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful, with portions that felt fair for the price. Everything from appetizers to dessert came out on time and tasted great. Overall, it’s a solid place with good food, good service, and an easygoing vibe, definitely worth a visit.

Porta Via Calabasas is classy, cozy, and quietly flexing. The potatoes and leeks deserve their own fan club, and the chopped salad is that girl. Comfort food with expensive taste, polished service, and vibes that make you consider moving to Calabasas.

I recently dined at this restaurant with my family and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with attentive service from the moment we walked in. We ordered a variety of dishes and were impressed by both the presentation and the quality of the food.

I had the seabass, and it was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside. It was beautifully seasoned and paired well with the sides. I also tried the sweet potato fries, which were crispy, not greasy, and had just the right amount of natural sweetness. They were served hot and fresh—easily some of the best I’ve had.

We also ordered from the kids’ menu for our child, choosing the pasta and the halibut. The pasta was simple but tasty—just the way kids like it. The halibut was a standout even from the kids’ options—flaky, mild, and not overcooked. It was served with a small side and portioned perfectly for a younger diner.

What stood out the most was the consistency in flavor and freshness across all the dishes. The restaurant clearly takes pride in using high-quality ingredients and preparing meals thoughtfully. Portions were generous, and everything arrived at the table in good time.

Overall, we left very satisfied. This is a great place for both adults and children, whether you’re craving fresh seafood or comforting sides. We’ll definitely be returning soon. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxed, delicious dining experience

The ambiance here is lovely, especially if you snag an outdoor table and soak up the fresh air. The location in charming Calabasas makes it perfect for a relaxed brunch, coffee to-go, or catching up with friends.

The food is more than decent, it’s straight-up fantastic! I had the 5-spice tuna sandwich with truffle fries and my girlfriend got the steak sandwich… just WOW. Perfectly executed and worth every penny (yes, it’s on the pricier side, but totally justified). Our server Ethan was the epitome of hospitality, super attentive, friendly, and even let us bring and uncork our own bottle of wine.
Absolutely fantastic spot, can’t recommend it enough! Already planning our next visit.

Great quality food. We especially loved the horseradish in their Bloody Mary. Beautiful inviting ambiance with clean crisp decor. Restrooms are unisex but share a communal hand wash station. Restrooms are well kept. The crowed is a mix of all ages and super inviting. The staff is endearing. We quickly fell in love this place. Can’t wait to taste more!

Porta Via Calabasas is a gem tucked away in the scenic city of Calabasas, known for its commitment to serving healthy, fresh, and flavorful Californian cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance invites you into a space that balances elegance with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for both casual lunches and special dinners.

The menu is a delightful exploration of contemporary California dining, with dishes that are both innovative and comforting.

Service at Porta Via Calabasas is noteworthy. Staff members are attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make recommendations, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.

A standout feature is the outdoor seating area, which provides a serene dining environment, perfect for enjoying the California weather. It was shame that one the day we visited, it was cold and windy and we could take advantage of outdoor seating. This setting, combined with their impressive wine list and craft cocktails, makes it a go-to for both locals and visitors looking for a dining experience that highlights the best of California’s culinary scene.

Porta Via Calabasas is a must-visit for those who appreciate fresh, high-quality ingredients, expertly crafted dishes, and an atmosphere that effortlessly combines sophistication with comfort. Whether you’re there for a leisurely brunch, a business lunch, or a romantic dinner, it’s a place that consistently impresses with its culinary delights and exceptional service.

Atmosphere and service…. amazing. The lighting in here is to die for! Especially if you are prone to migraines or have light sensitivity. Now, let’s move on to the food. What a joke. No lie the food was better here when the place was Johnny rockets. The food was awful. The guac came with 6 chips and a few carrots. Carrots and guac… I think not. Who made this menu… They should be fired.

All the food was bland and awful, the halibut, the stir fry, the burger all of it awful. The drinks were $18 each and were okay but not $18 okay. Let’s be real, the drinks are better at marmalade. My margarita was served in a whiskey glass with a huge ice cube, awful. It was gone in 3 sips.

The food, the portions, the prices are a joke. Service was great, food was not worth it, we won’t be back and we will be steering our friends away from this place until they fix their menu or prices. I don’t mind paying money for good food, what I mind is paying $ for awful food. We paid $300 for the worst food of our lives

Came here for my daughter’s birthday and we loved this place. Great staff, the hostess was very friendly and welcoming, the waiter had a great personality & recommended great dishes for us as it was our first time dining here. I ordered the Branzino, a white fish plate which was very delicious. My wife ordered the Orecchiette Primavera. My sister ordered the Parmigiano Crusted Halibut which to me was the best plate of all three. The sauce on the Halibut was perfection. We ordered my daughter the Chicken Bento Box with brown rice and vegetables. And for dessert a tiramisu.
