Good Italian cuisine with decent flavors.
This place was recommended by a friend for dinner.
Ordered multiple plates to try.
Veggies salad was fresh.
Funghi Pizza was very good, chicken cordon blue and chicken pane were delicious and the creamy seafood pasta was good but needed some flavor kick as it was very bland.
Portions are very big and definitely worth the price.
The atmosphere was typical of an authentic Italian eatery with dim lights and relaxing music.
Bathrooms were very clean, service was very good, and the prices are reasonable for the portion size & the quality you get.

Personally, I love the internal decorations of this place. Gives off an old west pub vibe but with a twist of a fine dining experience. I personally think that lighting is a bit too low and needs to increase a bit but it gives off a nice vibe if you’re into that. Service is excellent, staff are knowledgable and very friendly. Soups are pretty average there is nothing creative with them, just your good old classic Mushroom/ Creamy chicken soup. Garlic bread with Marinara was my favorite (it is a welcome appitzer). Mix fried appitizers was delicious, I am just confused why does it have fried chicken strips as it doesn’t really fit but overall taste very good. Salami Pizza was spot on, Salami slices were thick, cheese was well spread overall a pretty good pizza. Cordon Bleu tasted superb BUT it had a soggy crust that was very disappointing as it ruined the texture. It was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Rice was very average and Mashed Potato was basic but very creamy. Overall, Quality to price the place is very good, not the best but I would still go back

First time to find nice and friendly service at Porta D’oro.
I’ve tried different branches for Porta D’oro, and never liked any of them – they used to have a branch in Zayed and the service there was terrible.
I tried the Cordon Bleu, it was a bit less than ok, with a spoon of cold bland sauce. My friend ordered Chicken Lemon and she liked it.
The mixed fried appetizer dish was ok, ND I also ordered Tomato Soup and it was lovely.
We had Profiteroles for dessert and it was also lovely.
The highlight of this visit was Mostafa, who provided super nice service throughout dinner, and was friendly and helpful.

The best Italian restaurant. My favorite. Quality of food is excellent. All dishes are very tasty. The blue cheese dressing and the mushroom are delicious. Soup is extra ordinary. Even the food amounts is very reasonable. The extra dressing with the plates is perfect. Hope to keep it up. Please open a branch in zayed

Our family had a fabulous late lunch meal on a weekend while Porto D’oro restaurant was very busy so great that we found available table. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Lovely vibes, great decor, clean and atmospheric restaurant. We ordered salad and main course for everyone. The dish portion was big so there was no space for dessert . By far the best Italian restaurant in Dokki, Giza I have ever visited. Great menu, excellent service. Highly recommended
