I don’t think I’ve ever been greeted with such genuine warmth and welcoming energy. The moment I walked in, the woman at the front made me feel like a valued customer. And on my way out, an older gentleman thanked me and wished me well; it felt sincere and really left an impression.
I’m not sure if they’re the owners, but the entire team carries themselves with the pride, warmth, and hospitality of people who truly care. The food was great and complemented service perfectly.
My family will definitely be back. It’s rare to find a business where the people and the food are equally exceptional.

This is my second experience at this location. Last time a woman helped me and she was amazing this time the service sucked. No greeting or how can I help you, the guy just put on gloves and waited for me to order.

After a long day of labor like any other American I enjoy a Filling sandwich! And thank goodness port of subs out of Nevada is taking East Bay by storm! With 2 locations in Brentwood and Attentive servers , I have always found my interactions to be convenient. I enjoy coming here for the specials and can say that the food tastes fresh. I am very happy that they replaced Subway. I like chicken that I know is real chicken, I like fresh vegetables, and I like bread that is crunchy when toasted. But what I love more is a good deal for all those other things! So be sure to come here after 3 and take advantage of some good eats!

Came here for a second time in about 2 weeks and had a somewhat bad experience this time around. I’ve never had a sandwich with such a small portion of meat. My two kids sandwiches had about as much meat as mine. Completely different experience than our first time. I think you need to train your employees to be consistent. There was no meat on my $8 sandwich. As much as I hate subway even they put more meat and that’s not saying much. Please train staff to be consistent. We came back because we were impressed the first time around. Nice girl but she did not know what she was doing. I enclosed photos of my very skimpy sandwich. Very disappointing. I brought rating up to a 3 because i appreciate the owner for acknowledging and making an effort to provide consistency with his products. We will be back again. Thank you

I got to Brentwood a little early so I figured…Hell, I may as well grab a sando, and look right there…the Port of Subs sandwich shop! I had to help a friend install a salon station at his wife’s beauty salon, and I really didn’t want to do it on an empty stomach. You should have seen this thing! It has grappling hooks to hold something down to this flat stainless steel table that can pivot and twist all around, and a built in Laser thingy and a tank a hot paraffin…God only knows what they’re going to be doing!
I found out that later…and that’ll keep me outa Brentwood for good!
But, I’ll tell you…that hot ham and cheese Submarine Sandwich I got from the Port of Subs was Spot on!

To the new owners – how is the lady that’s working there every day not a manager? She absolutely single handedly carries this store like she owns it. The way she interacts and trains the other employees, the way she remembers regular customers and interacts with them, the way she manages a line during a busy time, covers all the promotions, her friendliness, and her sandwich making skills are second to none. There’s not much I can say other than you guys owe her BIG TIME.
I was eating lunch and I forgot I had some work to take care of. She let me have a pen and seated me so I can work. She always is positive and one time I came in, she was all alone and just finished a huge catering order all by herself when the store was opening. After that she still helped every customer in the long line with a smile.

I usually stop in about twice a month and am never disappointed with the food. I like that the meats are sliced when you order, rather than being prepackaged/pre-sliced. The owner is super friendly and the employees are as well. Restaurant is clean and I noticed the employees cleaning the food handling immediately after use, as well as frequently washing their hands while making orders. Prices are on point and incredibly fair for what you’re getting. Higher quality food than subway for a better price!
