The napkin was thicker and the meat portion of my 20 dollar roast beef sandwich. Yes it was a combo. Yes I tipped. Why so small portions when customers are paying?

Port of Subs is a delicious sub sandwich. They cut the meat and cheese in front of you, and have a mayo mustard mix that I could drink.
This store was clean, the customer service was fast and polite. There are eight tables in the lobby, but they can be pushed together if you need.
Kids meals are a great deal, currently $6 for a sandwich, chips, oreos, and a drink.

While the atmosphere is basically the same as any sandwich shop, the food itself is always good and the employees are friendly and quick. We usually do take out, but for dine in the tables are relatively clean.

Port of Subs used to be great for a convenient and healthier option, due to price increases it barely seems worth it anymore. I recently got a large turkey sandwich and made it a meal, can you guess the price after a 15% tip? …. $25!
One sandwich with chips and a drink cost me $25, I was completely flabbergasted at the price. Must be why they don’t clearly show the prices on the items like they did 5 years ago. Wait until you get to the register because most people will feel too guilty and committed to walk away from their meal they just had made to order. Their prices have gone up significantly faster than my wages. As it stands now I rather just run into a grocery store for a pre-made sandwich.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the food but I can’t justify the price as it is now.
Edit: also, I forgot to mention the owner is often working and she loves to skimp on the toppings, even if you ask for more.

You need customers not meat

Don’t go early in the day – they use yesterday’s bread. Got a sub there yesterday ay 12 AM. The bread was stale and flaky. Obviously left over from they day before. To make it worse, I could smell bread baking in the store.

Our family chose to go to Port of Subs on Mother’s Day. What a big mistake! Three of the four sandwiches were so messed up! I had the wrong cheese, no tomato, no lettuce and the meat didn’t even cover the bread. Another, no oil or vinegar, no spice and no lettuce. The third looked like the worker (who was so rude) stepped on it. Again, the ingredients were so skimpy on each sandwich. The fourth was skimpy too but it passed. We will never come back. What a embarrassment to your business! A total waste of money!!!

The lady here is very rude. She had guests (family) here blasting YouTube and she came stomping over to the front asked us what we wanted no conversation no nothing made me and my gf feel very un welcomed she threw our toppings on very very sloppy and ” cut ” the bread but we had to rip ours apart

I would have given a higher rating if staff and owner were not so rude rushing people thru their line. You cannot hesitate for even a second while placing your order, without getting a snarl and dirty look.

I love port of subs but yet another location I won’t be returning too. Staff makes you feel rushed, doesn’t put what you ask for and if you do ask for more the drowned it in whatever you asked for. When I asked for american cheese, they gave me Cheddar thinking I wouldn’t know the difference brought it back in and had to argue with them that I told them american not Cheddar and they kept say it’s Cheddar. I didn’t want Cheddar! ♀️ sandwich was mediocre at best with them making it.
