My meatball sandwich was ice cold! My wife’s sandwich was soggy! The lady at first seemed to be friendly then acted like she didn’t want to make anything! Came here many times throughout the years and I’ve never had a bad experience until this time. I know I’ll never come back again and order port of subs. Not even sure if I’ll stop to get gas here. It’s changed. Not sure what happened here. Money wasted and terrible food!

I came here for a 12-inch sandwich, and this place was an absolute joke. They only had ONE type of bread, and I still went along with it. But then it turned out they didn’t even have the most basic ingredients like tomatoes or onions. How can you call yourself a sandwich shop and not have the basics?
The staff didn’t apologize once—instead, they were rude, arrogant, and acted like they were doing me a favor. On top of that, the service was painfully slow.
This was a complete waste of time and money. Easily one of the worst sandwich shops I’ve ever been to. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

The guy working the counter with the piercings and tattoos on his face is by far the worst customer service rep I’ve ever dealt with. Slow, inefficient, overly talkative, and rude are just a few of the descriptions that come to mind off the top. When I walked in there were 2 people in line ahead of me. After using the restroom, getting items from the other side of the store and paying for them at a separate counter, then going to the counter to order a sub, which took at least 15 minutes, those same two individuals were still there getting there sandwiches made. The first customer ordered 2 sandwiches, which the guy working the counter was still making when I got to the line. The second guy wanted some extra stuff from someone who no longer worked there, which the sandwich guy couldn’t help him with. Then he wanted meatballs without the bread, to which the worker didn’t know the price to. After standing there for another 10 minutes while the worker took his time helping the guy in front of me, I had no interest in patronizing this establishment. Whoever owns or manages this establishment needs to hire better more efficient people to work the counter if you intend to make money. Truckers like myself don’t have time to stand around while lazy workers take their time to making orders.

I really don’t want to leave this review. My husband and I have always stopped through here and got a couple subs if not a few. The lady “Dawn” at first seemed very nice. After making our subs we asked for hot sandwiches, my sub was soggy and lukewarm and my husband wasn’t even lucky to get lukewarm!! A cold meatball Sub!! I’m so irritated! We’re already on the road and it’s bad enough she had 2 cucumbers and I guess that’s it not able to get anymore! God forbid I asked for a salad! Didn’t always get this kind of service! Even the store has changed! We’re taking our business to Maverick or further down. What the heck happened to Lovelock? Very disappointing! Soggy cold sandwiches and we’re both still hungry! Thanks! My husband has been driving for over 1000 miles!

These people are extremely rude uncharacteristic and honestly this whole store should be shut down. I can’t wait for the seven days to be over with so I can leave. Don’t come here this Port of Subs has bad reviews for a reason. Big lady was just straight up rude to me.

Terrible experience. I dealt with the white girl with tattoos on her hand and wrist. She was short with me but was really nice and helpful to my friends. She didn’t even ask if I wanted anything anything else on my sandwich. After she got it out of the oven she wrapped it up and started to make my friends sandwich without saying anything to me.

Sorry for the bad review. This place has a huge piece of bread and the smallest amount of ingredients. Needs to change or I won’t be coming back. Probably the only reason why they are still in businesses because they are attached to a gas station and people have no clue if they’re going to be good or not.
