We visited Feb 7 from a cruise. Port of Call was friendly prompt and tasty. I enjoyed my first low country boil in a long time being from Indiana. I can recommend Port of Call.

Delicious Southern Comfort at Port of Call

We visited Port of Call in Charleston for lunch on a Friday with a party of four and had a great experience from start to finish. We made a reservation in advance and were seated promptly inside near the bar, a cozy and lively spot with a great atmosphere.

I ordered the chicken biscuit sampler, and it did not disappoint. The biscuits were incredibly fresh and buttery, and each variation had its own delicious twist. It was a generous and filling dish, beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You have to try it if you’re visiting!

Overall, the service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the entire experience was smooth and satisfying. Port of Call is definitely a spot worth checking out for a laid-back, flavorful lunch in Charleston.

We had a very nice late lunch here. My husband liked his dish – the slow cooked brisket. This place is also very pet friendly. The waitress brought water bowl for our pup.

All our food was amazing; prepared well and flavorful. The delightful surprise was the chicken bog. It’s under appetizer – soooo good. I’ve been eating (and making) chicken bog all my life – and I think I’m going to amend my family recipe to include their seasoning. The cornbread was the sweet and fluffy variety, and the low country boil was delicious. They perfected SC dishes.

Jordan was our server and did a great job!

How do you season so well, have a good atmosphere and have food so cold it needs a sweater, especially at those tourist prices. After further thought, the food came out really fast, almost like it wasn’t even cooked to order (burgers) and just sat there till it died and they hoped the salamander would keep it going, or orders would come in fast enough. Cold food when the kitchen is 15 secs walk away is unforgivable

Enjoyed the outdoor seating for our large group, with live music. Fun brunch menu, plenty of options for the whole family. Really enjoyed the fried green tomorrows and the waffle tots with cheese and bacon.

Delicious food. The scrambled eggs are light and fluffy. It’s like you are biting into a cloud. Fried chicken is juicy inside and crispy outside. The gravy has great flavors. The home fries are a big hit. The spices on the fries are just right! The mac and cheese is so good that we have to visit two days in a row! The atmosphere is also nice. Nothing beats live music! Will definitely come back next time in town.

Great place to eat outside. Little warm today but there is lots of shade and fans. Live music and the food was quite good. Right next to the market so very convenient.

Very nice spot for food and drinks. I only went for drinks and they have a smaller variety of craft beer and drinks. The outdoor seating is very nice and cozy. Service was great, just on the slower side. The live 90s country music was good, a little loud for me as I couldn’t hear my wife talking (who was sitting across from me). I would go again
