We had an unforgettable dining experience at this stunning restaurant. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit; elegant, warm, and set in a beautiful location that made the evening feel extra special.

Our server, Rabecca, was truly exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her professionalism and kindness elevated the entire experience.

We ordered the steak, cornbread, and mac and cheese, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the cornbread was warm with the ideal texture, and the mac and cheese was creamy, rich, and downright comforting.

Everything from the setting to the service to the food was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an outstanding meal and an exceptional dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning!

Food was amazing, not giant ‘American’ servings but assuming the portions keeps it accessible. Raw oysters amazing. Mussels delicious! Lobster risotto was mind blowing. Drinks were perfect. Staff were so attentive, we were initially sitting by a bigger party in a small room living their best life, waitress suggested moving us, so grateful. I would highly recommend for a special night out.

The drinks, food, and atmosphere were excellent, which is exactly what I’d expect from a high-end restaurant. That said, I think there’s room for improvement when it comes to service. Our drinks took longer than expected to arrive, which dampened the start of the evening, and the food also came out slower than I would’ve anticipated.
The biggest disappointment, though, was that it was my birthday—a detail my fiancée mentioned more than once. I was surprised that nothing was done to acknowledge the occasion. Even something small, like a complimentary dessert or drink, would have gone a long way in making the night feel special.
Overall, the quality of the food was great, but in my opinion, the service needs to match that same level. With a bit more attention to detail and guest experience, this could have been a flawless night.

Our first visit for a special brunch menu. Happy to have a nice somewhat typical choices with simple little twists adding unique flavors. Exceptional atmosphere including Santa for photos if desired and beautiful setting overlooking the harbor.

Last night I had dinner in Kennebunkport at the Port Fish & Chop House (@Breakwater Inn). It is one of many dinners I’ve had there of late with friends and out of towners, alike, and if you haven’t been you should try it. The restaurant serves elevated yet approachable American food, in a comfortable, quiet setting. Dishes are beautifully prepared with a selection of fresh, varied menu items ready to satisfy the pickiest palates. (The bar is skillfully tended by Keith formerly of Via Sophia). I know how hard it is to stay open all winter, and I truly appreciate the handful of restaurants in town that do. So here’s my review with a big shout out to the restauranteurs that run it! (Items to consider: crab cakes, sea food tower, beet salad, burata salad, halibut, filet mignon, rib eye, linguine and clams, creamed spinach, roasted carrots, cheese cake, a perfectly balanced Manhattan or Mule).

We happened to be there exactly one month after they opened. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Nick, the manager personally introduced himself to us and thanked us for coming. The food was great! They had a scallop scampi entree special that hopefully will find a place on the permanent menu. We also had a Caesar salad which was outstanding. The local Maine oysters were on point as well. We sat outside on the patio and it was a relaxed environment with amazing views of the river and ocean. Highly recommend.

We had dinner here Tuesday evening. The service was mind blowing. Everyone was genuinely friendly and welcoming. Thank you Tony, Kathy, Al and Brian and everyone else who took the time to chat and check on us. A dinning experience like this is hard to find. Oh, and the food and views are great too.
