This little gem is located at the ferry terminal in Bellingham. We both had a craving for fish and chips so it didn’t hurt us to stop by on the way to Chukanut Drive. (LOVE LOVE ❤️ that Drive!!!!! ) We split a 3pc cod and a small (12oz, generous for a small) crab soup. They have indoor/outside seating which we did since it was a nice sunny day and the water view was cool . The soup was nice, with crab pieces you can actually see, but the fish was very tasty!!! Tempura style, super crispy and the fish was moist and delicious. Definitely get their tartar sauce! Fries are standard but the malt vinegar gives it a bit more punch. Other seafood offerings are available and we’ll try them when we come back very soon!!

Nice grab-and-go seafood restaurant that offers a variety options, indoor and outdoor seating, and stunning ocean views (on non-stormy days!).
Staff were friendly, and brought our order to the table when ready.
Two of us shared the three piece halibut and chips, which was more than enough food. Halibut was thick, flaky, perfectly cooked, and fresh. We loved that they go light on the batter since heavy batter tends to detract from the fish. Fries were tasty and crispy, but ever so slightly too salty. Coleslaw wasn’t great, BUT I didn’t come for coleslaw, it’s the quality of fish that counts, and they succeed!

The Hallibut Fish and Chips was not as good as the Go Fish in Vancouver, Canada, but the atmosphere and service were great. The Schooner docked at Port was amazing to see. The views were excellent. The best part is to have the option to eat inside and avoid seagull bombs. Overall, it was a really great experience.

What you can expect of a fish and chips kiosk. Good crusts on fish, prices on par for similar places in the region. Location is popular, so there may be a 10 or more minute standing line wait time to order and over 20 minute wait times for preparation. Seating in the terminal’s dining area is usually sufficient for demand, and outside seating is an option, especially in good weather. Counter service is good. Beverage choices are diverse enough for most diners.

Great lunch option, located inside the Bellingham cruise terminal. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The cod was delicious and not too greasy; the fries were well seasoned. Highly recommend! We were able to get a table outside and the views were awesome!

My family said the Whiskey Crab Soup was pretty different from the kind they always got and loved at the Cliffhouse, which they found to be was disappointing since it’s supposed to be the same recipe. I, for one, have nothing to compare it to and thought it was great! 🙂
The piece of cod I got was pretty small, but still very good. The atmosphere here is also really cool, would be great on a sunny day with all the windows overlooking the water.

Delicious fish and chips restaurant! So many options to choose from, from halibut to cod to shrimp to salmon and even chicken, I ended up going with the 3 piece halibut basket. – it came with fries, tarter sauce(s), lemons, coleslaw! The food was definitely 100% fresh! Tasty! Everything about it screamed perfect!, customer service was top tier! – the local beers were very smooth and delicious, I went with a Kulshan Draft Lager, they even let me taste it before I bought it! 100% recommend!

Getting there – Google maps directed us to turn in at the corner of Paws for A Beer – don’t! The food counter (not it’s own restaurant) is located inside the Bellingham Cruise Terminal.
Once we arrived (around 5pm), there was a short line and signage that suggested the wait time would be around 35 minutes; this may have been due to the fact that a group of about 8-10 ordered just before we arrived.
We initially tried to sit outside, but there happened to be a cruise ship ready to depart, and it was extremely loud. We decided to move inside.
The food arrived around the estimated wait time, and we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the chowder, captain’s platter, and a kid’s cod bites plate. Everything was battered evenly, and seasoned well. The cod was a bit overcooked, the clam strips were a bit small – felt like i mostly got batter. We thoroughly enjoyed the chowder, halibut, popcorn shrimp and calamari!
Overall, we enjoyed the food as a last minute dinner decision. The atmosphere was lovely once the cruise ship departed, and the customer service and attention to detail was wonderful!

We heard that this place had the best fish & chips in the Bellingham area, so we went to try it out. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We had the Captain’s Platter and a clam chowder. The only item that was cooked well was the fries or “chips”. The fish, clams, and corkscrew calamari were all greasy and soft. The clam chowder was thin and only mildly warm. The view was nice as you can look out on the waterfront, but aside from that, we would not recommend this place.

We are here for the first time. My salmon Caesar salad came with a decent-sized piece of pan-seared wild Pacific salmon, which was well-seasoned. My husband, a fish and chips aficionado, enjoyed the battered fish, and said the fries and coleslaw were very good. We’re glad we finally gave this place a try. There’s a big dining area with many tables in front of the huge windows looking out at Bellingham Bay and the ferry terminal, which make it a beautiful place to eat lunch.
