Definitely worth the trip! Smoked whitefish pate’ is absolutely the best I’ve ever tasted. Whitefish dinner was fantastic and the whitefish sandwich excellent too. Smoked bacon ready for the skillet was a treat.
Service is always fast and friendly.
Know there are no indoor tables, but picnic tables outside are convenient.

3 hungry grown men very much enjoyed and inhaled three half pounds of fried fish (smelt, trout and walleye) and a sampler pack of smoked fish (trout, salmon and whitefish). Every bite was incredible and even magnificent, depending on your personal preference of fish and style of preparation. The atmosphere is basic but clean with some outdoor tables to eat the fresh fish. 100% will return!

This rating is for the deep fried fish,only-The smoked fish is great, the deep fried whitefish is sub par and a weak portion for $23! If you travel West Michigan and the UP, there are much better fried fish joints. RESPONSE TO OWNER BELOW. Anyhow bud, I tried to respond to your question. it was a few weeks before you were getting ready to close,2025. I felt bad about the review, I made mistakes and adjusted my review. Sorry. I like your place for the great smoked fish. But a better way to explain myself, would be this. It just is not a batter type I like. Thanks for the offer, but I can’t accept that. Very generous of you. but I will buy another order this summer, and see what I think!

Delectable flash fried fish dinners prepared expertly, not overly greasy, perfectly complemented by the sauces. We love this place! Take out but dine at the outdoor patio tables. Friendly service by the knowledgeable staff who will gladly talk to you about fish. BBQ pork was also tasty. Get the walleye, salmon bites, fried shrimp. See you next summer!

I don’t review things very often but when I do, it’s usually because it was the best. Whether it’s fresh seafood or fresh smoked meat sticks this place is the best. We stopped on our way out of town to end our vacation and we’re so glad we did. (I would love some mustard is my only ask )

The fish is amazing. Try anything smoked you’ll love it. Best I’ve had hands down!! So so delicious. Fish tacos also amazing. And my son’s favorite is the venison sticks while I get the fish jerky. The service is above and beyond many others. Love coming here and prices also on point!! Have to come here for sure!

We always stop whenever cycling through Frankfort. Lots of smoked fish varieties. On this visit I had a perch sandwich with fries. The perch excellently prepared and served and served on a soft pretzel bun. Too much Ben and not enough fish though. The fries were some of the best ever. I’d just get fish and chips next time to skip the bread.
