I had been here before just for drinks so it was my first time for food. I got the fried oysters and fries and it was great. My husband got the all you can eat shrimp boil which I do not recommend if you know what a boil should be. The corn and potatoes were cold and there was hardly any seasoning. Our server did his best to bring out some sides that were warm but it must have been under a headlamp because they got cold again quickly.

Im so happy I got to visit this place. It’s laid back, and I enjoyed the oldies’ music. We sat outside and had a nice little view. The coffee was delicious and not watered down. Our breakfast was made just right. We stayed so long we also got to try the shrimp boil, and it too was good. The two lovely ladies were kind, polite, and treated us great. They welcomed us in and even gave us a little background on the place. And a flyer for the hotel part, I’m definitely going back. I kinda wanted to keep it my little secret lay low spot, but definitely try the egg and shrimp omelet, add the veggies u like, and cheese.

We had a table of 8, and Allison, our waitress, was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive, organized, and never missed a beat—even with all of us ordering and needing refills at different times. Our drinks stayed full, food came out correctly and promptly, and she checked in just the right amount without hovering. She handled our large group with ease and a great attitude, which made the whole experience even better. Truly excellent service!

I had the fried oyster basket. The oysters were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My husband had the shrimp boil. The shrimp were excellent! The chairs were very heavy and uncomfortable. I guess they dont want you to stay long. Lol!

This is one of my favorite parts of Port A. The ambience is awesome. Just chilling on the beach eating, drinking coffee or a nice mimosa. Check out their new buzzed pineapple drink. Fun!

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Impressive.

First be prepared to smell literal sewage as you enter. If that doesn’t turn you away. I hope you like fly poop with your meal. There were at least 20 flys per person. You can’t fend that many off.

The food was bland. The drinks were less than mediocre. The service barely exists. How is this place open?

Started eating before I took a picture. We had the grilled ham and cheese and cheeseburger with grilled onions and jalapeños. The fries are fantastic and the burger and grilled cheese are perfect. Cheap drinks and great ocean view from the patio.

Place is a complete toilet. Windy day and flies are everywhere.. very dirty.. we when in for dinner, but just ordered cheese sticks as we were concerned. I could tell the cheese sticks were fried in dirty oil… Server was super nice, but we had to go to bar to pay because she never came back.. I had to wait like 10 minutes at bar because waitress was dealing with one customer and chit chatting it up.. we left and went somewhere else.

What a hidden gem! My son and I were walking the beach during Thanksgiving break, and it was a little chilly. We happened upon this fantastic spot. The bartender was as friendly as you would expect an owner to be, and he had the dining area open 15 minutes earlier than the posted sign. He told us all about the place and shared that they also offer.Lodging, and that they’ve been there since the 1960s. They just don’t advertise because they don’t need to. This place is rustic down home and it makes you feel warm, cuddly and fuzzy all at once. The migas were tasty, and my son enjoyed his Belgian waffle with all the goodies also. Maybe most importantly, the coffee was hot!
