Really lovely people work there. We go to alot of indian restaurants and they are one of the restaurants those got good staff. They are friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist. We have visited a couple times. The meal options are excellent. Both north and south Indian alternatives are available. Every time we visit, we are satisfied with the staff’s service and food. This time, we had masala dosa and lacha pratha, both of which were superbly prepared. There, I had a wonderful experience.

They are my favorite Indian restaurant in the Sacramento area. I’ve been to India five times and cook chettinad cuisine at home, so I’m willing to argue my position. Great combination of presentation and flavor, making is worthwhile for a special occasion, but laid back atmosphere for just a general desire to go to a restaurant. My favorite is the mutton soup. For newbies, get a masala dosa. If they post they are doing a thali on the weekend, you might even meet me it is my single most favorite thing in this world.

Overall it was a nice experience. I am oosting after my second visit to thr restaurant. On both visits I tried their south indian menu. Fresh Orange Juice was really refreshing. Rava Masala dosa taste good but the authentic taste is missing from their Dosas. Sambar was ok. Must try their Pan after the food.

Delicious, flavorful and generous portion! We really enjoyed our meal which included the Meduvada appetizer (fried dal “donuts”), Hyderabad chicken biryani, ghee porotta and a spicy chicken curry dish (I can’t recall the name but it was so flavorful!). Definitely not watered down flavors. We have enough leftovers for another meal for two people. We will be back!

Food is good. There is a charge to pay using card. The staff are not saying that before. So if we compare the item price including the extra cost for using card, this place is little pricy$$ compare to other Indian restaurants.

We went in here not realizing that it was a vegetarian place, but still The wait was considerable for our food, but that’s expected from a smaller establishment where food is cooked to order. We ordered way too much, starting with the Samosas first, the cheese Dosa(like a crepe), Porotta (pan fried, flaky, pull apart type bread), Veg Spring Dosa(spring roll, but it was soggy), Paneer 65(fried cheese), and the Thalapakatti Biriyani. Everything was hot and fresh, well seasoned, and we didnt miss the meat! Although we ate more carbs than we should’ve. We were served a variety of chutneys to accompany the food, mint, coconut, and tomato. My favorites were the samosas and the porotta. It had a lunchroom feel and was small inside, but cozy. We were given tablets to order which seemed like a good idea but the food had no descriptions which made it difficult if you arent familiar with the dishes.

Best parotta and mutton biryani I ever had after coming to the states. Too good food. Served hot and fresh. Love the customer service. I recommend you should ‘atleast’ go once.

The food was pretty good and the service was great. Really recommend trying their filter coffee. The dosas were also really good but if you like it spicy maybe mention it to your waiter to make your dosa filling spicy.
