I first started eating here in 2007 or 2008. The place need a little bit of work back then but the food was fantastic. Fast forward to 2022 and you’ll find the same great food. The ribs have a fantastic smoky flavor with just the right amount of texture when you Bite into them. My favorite is the pulled pork sandwich with barbecue beans on the side. And yes the beans have meat in them. As for the restaurant that needs a little attention Wayback when? You can tell they have done some remodeling and the place is quite cozy now, but I felt it was then too.

Love this BBQ treasure! Having been let down on so many KC BBQ Restaurants, this place will definitely get you hooked! The ham and brisket are addictive…the brisket is so lean and taste amazing, I was totally surprised by their delicious meatloaf sandwich. Delicious flavor and texture, then grilled on the smoker… SO good. They have delicious desserts, love the pineapple upside down cake, and brownies.

Very good baby back ribs. We skipped the sides so we could have a full order. Tender, smoked good, seasoned, add your own sauce if wanted. Sweet mild & hot choices. They now serve beer. Adequate seating area. Will return.

Foods alright. Came on high expectations and multiple recommendations. Food seems expensive for what you get – they don’t serve fries or onion rings. Large burnt end sandwich was a standard bun with a spoon full of meat on it.

After talking about this place for the 100th time I figured I better leave a review, came here my first time a couple weeks ago, I’ve never been huge on BBQ, but I ordered some Burnt ends and a half slab of ribs and when I tell you it was the best damn BBQ I ever had in my life I mean it. Had to go back the next day for more. Highly highly recommend this place!!!!!!!

Always compare burnt ends but they only have them on Sunday. Got a ham and sausage combo. Very good. Mild sauce was excellent. Beans and potato salad was 1st class.

We’re meeting on weekends to get to the places a lil far out. Kurt and I hit up Porky’s Blazin Bar-B-Q yesterday. Alaina, Regina and Chris helped us broaden our orders. The second place in a row for Kurt and I that did not have fries. This is located in Grain Valley. The thing I liked most about it was the bark on the ribs. However, they were a little tough. The brisket was the highlight. The burnt ends were not true burnt ends and also a little tough or dry. The beans were good, in thick sauce. Not sure if their house made? had a little more onion than I would like but not as overpowering as some I have had. The potato salad and coleslaw or unremarkable. I tried the spicy and sweet and spicy sauces. There’s something I can’t pinpoint that makes it unique. Couldn’t decide if I liked the spicy. Definitely didn’t like the sweet and spicy; and I didn’t try the mild. We paid about a dollar to get the sliced pickle which was perfect . They do not serve alcohol.

In the land of BBQ there are many recipes…a few special places feel like a home meal from start to finish. Porky’s looks and feels like grandpa’s cabin and smells like his smoker. Everything has that distinct flavor from time, patience and developed flavors. Family/local owned & operated, and truly worth visiting!

Hands down the best Smoked meat around. To me BBQ means to put sauce (BBQ sauce) on the meat. I never even get sauce here that’s how awesome the smoked meats are.
