Here’s my opinion on the food. The fish is a quality product typical with what you will find at most local area church fish fries. The crinkle cut fries were a really big portion but they’re just a frozen product like most fast food stores sell; the big difference here is you’ll not get any cold food here. The baked beans were a mix of beans that were in a really good sweet & savory BBQ style sauce and I enjoyed them, they’d be great with some corn bread. The thing that’s a miss for me was the macaroni & cheese. I’m not sure if it was left over or what happened but it just didn’t taste good for me. It could have been the cheese blend wasn’t for me? I know others who have liked it & recommended it so don’t let me deter you too much on it. The hush puppies were really good as well as the tartar sauce. It’s around $10 for a fish sandwich, 1 side & 3 hush puppies. I think drinks were $1.50 each but I’m not % since I’m a little late posting this review. What I’m really looking forward to is going back for their specialty of brisket burnt ends and the pulled pork. The fine young man working there said the brisket was his favorite. They also bring your food out to your table. The atmosphere is pretty cool and definitely kid friendly.
Nice but limited variety of bbq and fish (cod). The churched-up tots are great, and are only $7, same price as the fish sandwich.
