Very good food, and cheerful competent service. I enjoyed my “Porfirio’s Chicken (it’s hard to find healthy alternatives at Mexican restaurant and this one is), my mother liked her Chile Relleno—though she would have preferred more “pica” (spicy heat from the Chile), and my wife was very happy with her fajita tacos. The price was competitive. The only slight “down” was the atmosphere. The place has seen better days inside: tables’ etc., look worn.

The huevos rancheros here were okay, for $7.99 you get 2 eggs, bacon, refried beans and potatoes.
The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was tasty, the refried beans were delicious, the potatoes were okay with no seasoning and the bacon was thin but tasty.
The breakfast was average, there wasn’t anything here that would stand out, they don’t serve you nothing to snack while you wait, additionally this place used to be called Morados, but the owners, cooks and staff are all the same.
Overall this is my last visit here as there are far better options available in the area(check my reviews for ideas).

Super yummy. Came by on a whim and the green salsa they had was delicious. The entrees was also super impressive. The Mexican street tacos were delicious and came with bone marrow which was such a cool touch. Will be coming back!

My girlfriend and I came here for lunch and the steak and potato was cooked to profection. The owners and staff were very attentive. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend.

First time visitors, will definitely be going back. Food was delicious. I had the fajita tacos with a side chorizo and egg taco. My wife had the pork steak and eggs. Fajitas were flavorful and tender, tortillas just wow. The side salad was basic but good, the refried beans were really REALLY good. Two items that could use some improvement were the rice and chorizo and egg. The rice lacked some flavor, the chorizo and egg looked like they were cooked separately and combined towards the end, also lacked the traditional orange color to it. My wife was impressed with the pork steak – tasty, surprisingly tender snd flavorful, with a good char on it. She also mentioned the eggs were cooked perfectly to her request. Chips were good, the salsa variety was impressive. The service was excellent, Lily was super attentive and sweet, when asked if any of the salsas were super hot she responded with we have a hotter one and proceeded to bring it. Very happy with with her service. And yes Luis Miguel was playing in the background, added to the aesthetic of the restaurant. Thank you for the great food and service.

I was in search of authentic Mexican Food and Porfirios was recommended to me by two wonderful sales associates at Earthbound Trading Company. I arrived at around 4 pm and was greeted by Daniel, the owner, and a lovely couple already sitting at a table. Porfirios is known for breakfast and lunch and has just recently opened for dinner. Daniel has a full bar and made me a yummy House Margarita. I explained that I would like to try Mexican Food that I couldn’t get at the usual Mexican restaurants that I frequent in Massachusetts and Daniel suggested that I get the Street Tacos and some Caldo de Res (beef soup). So while I waited for my dinner I enjoyed great conversation and munched on the VERY tasty, Triple Treat appetizer of Salsa, Guacamole and Queso with chips…my soup arrived…The Caldo de Res was very flavorful and the veggies were cooked just right! The Street Tacos were served with bone marrow, which enhanced the flavor of the delicious beef tacos that were topped with avocado, queso fresco , and tuetano…it was an excellent meal!!!!
