Great food. Great salad. Great prices. Gluten free buns for their burgers and sandwiches. Chips and salsa is good and potato salad is awesome.

The Porch Public House offers an inviting and relaxed dining experience that feels both cozy and casual, perfect for a Friday night out or a quiet weekday meal. The service was friendly and quick, with the staff keeping things moving even during the dinner rush. The highlight of the meal was without a doubt the mac and cheese. It arrived hot, creamy, and full of flavor, with tender pasta and generous chunks of ham that added a smoky, savory balance. The portion size was perfect- filling without being heavy-and the two slices of fresh bread on the side were a nice touch. It’s one of those dishes that feels simple but done right. For dessert, we tried the brownie sundae, and it was outstanding. The rich, warm brownie paired perfectly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce-classic comfort done exceptionally well. Even better, it was surprisingly affordable for the quality and portion size.
Overall, The Porch Public House combines excellent comfort food with a welcoming atmosphere and great value. Highly recommended for anyone in the mood for something hearty, satisfying, and reasonably priced.

Always a great experience! The service is just right, with a little humor and banter too! I haven’t had a bad meal there! Great menu and atmosphere!

First time here. I will say that we will come back. It is in a cute little area by the golf course in Hayden. Seat yourself. Service was fast and friendly. The menu could have been a little bigger with more selection. It’s kind of limited but what we got was good. We got two side salads and they were huge. Kind of basic, but good. We did the pork tacos and corn salad. It was large enough to share. One taco each and a nice serving of corn salad. The tacos were a little dry, but still good. They have non alcoholic beer which we like. There’s a nice porch area to sit. The decor is very dated but cute and homey kind of feeling. We will try it again.

Very cool place. Our server was attentive and courteous. The dining area has a “cabiny” feel. Our food was delicious. I had the French dip… The meat was lean and the bread just right for dipping. The potato salad recipe was also very unique and flavorful.

One of our favorite spots for lunch – the swimming angel and Santa Fe Chicken sandwich with the pasta corn salad are our favorites. Food is always consistently good! Great service and a chill porch vibe if the weather is nice.

Run of the mill American fair, we got the French dip and trout both were good we preferred the French dip. Portion sizes are big enough to split so you get your moneys worth. Service was quick but we felt a little forgotten as our waters were not topped off during our meal and we didn’t see our waiter pretty much the whole time we were seated. Otherwise it was pretty decent. We sat on the porch which was cool but since it was semi enclosed it got pretty warm.

Decided to try somewhere different in Hayden. The Porch was it. Cute inside and cozy feeling. Service was excellent, our server was right there with water and to take our drink order. Pictured are the Ruben sandwich, which was so thick with corned beef, and the pulled pork taco, which the pork had been braised in pineapple. Both were excellent and accompanied by corn pasta salad. Interesting menu, can’t wait to go back and try the lamb sandwich.

Great place, great food, service was awesome. I read some of the one star reviews and couldn’t disagree more. My favorites are the ones that say “I’ve been there 50x and I had one bad experience” yet you don’t see reviews for the 49 other times they were satisfied….unfortunately, that’s the down side of a service industry.

The menu was simple and limited, so I had a feeling the food would be awesome and it was. The atmosphere was rustic yet clean, overall experience was great. 100% recommend.

The sprouts were fresh and in my opinion perfectly cooked. The only thing that could have made this better was a little more balsamic as it was hard to taste with the other ingredients. We also enjoyed an order of wild mushroom ravioli. The sauce was great and it was just the right sized portion. The service really was the shining star here! My diet Coke was refilled before I even realized I had drank it far enough down to need a refill. They kept us supplied with plenty of water and frequently but not irritatingly visited the table to see if there was anything that they could help us with.

First visit! Super cute, cozy spot with that classic friendly Idaho service and a hint of Irish charm-everyone was so nice and welcoming.
Food was just okay. Got the Swimming Angel: huge pile of rice, tiny piece of chicken, wilted spinach, and a peanut sauce that tasted more like candy than savory. Kinda bland overall. Should’ve gone with a burger or a sandwich.
Sweet little small-town place with great vibes and lovely people. I’d pop in for a beer, but probably wouldn’t rush back for dinner. Still smiled the whole time though!
