Poquito’s is the BEST!! My favorite go-to spot in Athens. Delicious food— best quesabirria, fun atmosphere, and fast and friendly service.

Cute mexican place that serves real deal street tacos. What puts this place in the 5-star tier is the fact that they serve, I kid you not, VEGAN tinga and al pastor. This is not your mom’s chipotle sofritas– the vegan meats are packed with flavor and spice. Also the sauces they serve alongside are very tasty and, gringo beware, very spicy. Fortunately, they are totally optional and skipping the sauce doesn’t diminish the dish. I would recommend to one and all. Muy rica.

This place was referred to us by my son’s girlfriend, she hit it right on the head!
Very laid back, good food (limited menu) and Great outdoor space!
Order at the counter and then be served. (That was a little disheveled) but, overall, good experience.
If I have anything they should improve, it would be the ordering process, and the food service.
We were all served at different times, so some of us were done eating and others were just starting.
Thankfully, their outdoor seating area provided relaxation and a good social area where you just could sit and talk.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Athens! I get their Al Pastor tacos and i am always STUFFED after. The food is super affordable and comes out super quick even when I go with a huge group (sometimes 10+ people). They even have a discount on their tacos on Tuesday and happy hour almost everyday! Definitely worth a visit and I will absolutely be back.

Solid place for tasty tacos. Not a fancy place and yet that brings its own charm to it. Sit outside if possible!
I ordered the vegetarian options, both the soy pastor and the jackfruit tinga, and honestly? The jackfruit tinga set a new standard for what you can do with jackfruit! That good.
The guac was a little watery, but the flavor was good.

A welcome addition to the Mexican scene in Athens. Feels more upscale as compared to the other authentic places (which are typically food trucks/stands or inside grocery stores) and more authentic compared to the proper restaurants. Has a few items that are traditional Mexican food but not usually found at the standard Tex-mex type place.
Tastes quite good. Among the tacos, I liked the tingas (chicken and jackfruit). The corn tortillas used for (all) the tacos tacos tasted nice.
4.25 stars rounded up to 5

the food was okay, especially for the price! unfortunately, their claims of having gluten free options aren’t accurate at all 🙁 as someone with celiac, i was excited to find a new spot. i’ve been SO sick.

Highly Recommend! Cozy, cute & laid back authentic Mexican eatery with non complicated menu that lists general traditional Mexican food items. Traditional Michelada and Sangria alcoholic beverages are made to perfection. Plenty of parking nearby. Friendly staff!

Best tacos in town without a doubt. My girlfriend is vegetarian and loves their veg-friendly options and I’m obsessed with their chicken tinga. Plus their outdoor seating area is perfect all year
