Excellent service and great recommendation
I would like to highlight the excellent service we received from Claudia. From the very beginning, she was friendly, attentive, and made my family and me feel truly welcome. We mentioned that we were from out of state, and the attention she gave to us was exceptional.
Following her recommendation, I ordered the Mix agua fresca, and for food we tried the ají burrito, which was absolutely delicious. My kids, wife and I loved everything we ordered and her recommendation was spot on.
Employees like Claudia are extremely valuable to have. If I didn’t live in another state, I would gladly ask her to work for me. I truly hope she receives a Christmas bonus for such outstanding work.

I’m usually reluctant to leave negative reviews, but after passing by the area again hungry , I couldn’t shake how frustrated I was with my last visit. I ordered a burrito and two tacos and a horchata (totaling $30), specifically asking for modifications like guacamole on the side and extra cilantro.
When the food arrived, it was incredibly disappointing—just meat and tortillas with no other fillings. It was extremely dry and lacked any value for the price. When I pointed this out, the cashier was unhelpful, telling me it would be an extra $3.99 for rice and beans. Meanwhile, another customer pointed out it’s only $1 to add them during the order process—an option the staff never offered me. I ended up throwing the food away. Between the poor service and the dry food, I won’t be returning ever. Real Staple of the community going down the drain with poor customer service and the cooking staff backing up the silliness like wow never again.

San Lucas Shrimp bowl was yummy. If you can handle spicy food, you must try. The Watermelon Agua Fresca was perfect, not overly sweet. Next time I’ll ask for the pinto beans, I’m not a fan of black beans. If your in the area, I would recommend giving this place a try.

We stoped while visiting universal. Food was not good at all. I ordered the steak plate and the steak meet tasted like it was boiled instead of grill. Won’t be back.

I ordered this for pick up so I can’t speak to the atmosphere. I am from TX and I’m aware our Mexican food is different but have you actually tried your enchiladas? I’ve never had an enchilada you need a knife to cut. And I’m pretty confident the sauce is just watered down ketchup. The “hot salsa” is mild pico. Unfortunately I would not recommend this resturaunt. The rice was fine.

I love Poquito Mas! The food is always fresh and the serving sizes are awesome. My favorite is the Classic carnitas burrito, but everything is delicious. Poquito Mas is a staple in the LA area and must not be missed.

Great Chicken Nachos, great Chicken Tacos! And they offered Orange soda. All of it was bomb. The HOT salsa wasn’t hot enough, but still delicious. The store was super clean also, taking super covid19 precautions. Staff was polite. Thx for a great dinner!

Wow! I can’t believe I have visit to Poquito Mas at Studio City Ventura Blvd since 2020 COVID-19 pandemic! The tostadas we had is much better than Baja Fresh. The soup tastes pretty good. The prices are expensive & the best tacos in LA. Long run business. Not busy. The quesadillas are damm delicious. I really like it so much. Most satisfying ever!
