Pops Southern Buffet is absolutely amazing! My father- and mother-in-law, Mike and Marjorie, brought us here on all-you-can-eat crab leg day. I’m not the crab eater of the bunch, but my wife and Mike sure are—and they were in heaven! The buffet was packed with catfish, shrimp, crawfish, and so much more. I left full as a tick
The staff were super friendly, and even the owner made his rounds checking on everyone, which you don’t see often anymore. With our sons serving in the Navy and Army, I really appreciated all the veteran and military pride throughout the place—it felt like home. If I didn’t live 9 hours away, I’d be here every week… but honestly, it’s still tempting to make the drive!

If I could give it No stars I would!!First and definitely the last time eating here! My husband took myself and our two kids for dinner and we left feeling as though we got robbed! $25 per person the food was COLD, the crawfish where not seasoned at all, very limited selection of food to begin with! The salad bar was the best part but, if you want dessert or drinks then you’ll pay extra because those are not included in the ridiculous price! The one good point was the waitress was nice (I would give her 5 stars)! We left feeling sick and full of not food but regret!

Great establishment, awesome staff and amazing food. If you like home cooked food made with passion this is your spot. I have been here twice in 2 weeks. Food was the same quality for both amazing lunch stops. I will definitely be back time and time again. Rode down from Orange Park just for lunch. No other reason. Staff and owner are super friendly and always cleaning and clearing plates always on time with the refills.

The best Southern food awaits you! As soon as you arrive, the aroma of delicious dishes fills the air. The sweet hostess, Ms. Wendy, and our wonderful server, Ms. Angela, took excellent care of us during our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which included fried chicken, fried shrimp, okra, fish, and spicy shrimp. We were so full that we almost struggled to make it back to the car! Everything was incredibly fresh and hot.

My first meal at Pop’s will not be my last! We went in Friday for the seafood buffet! I’m pretty easy to please with an endless pan of shrimp, but six of us enjoyed pretty much everything on the buffet! My “Trifecta of Happiness” is Great Food, Served by Great People, and Great Prices! Nobody can argue with $25 for AYCE seafood, but as usual the people make a place stand out. Perfect service was provided and everyone on the staff was friendly and a pleasure to chat with!

All you can eat seafood buffet. The fish was decent they served catfish on the bone and swai and the shrimp were little. The buffet dishes were fish shrimp greens fried okra corn on the cob black eyed peas hush puppies potato wedges and a salad bar. The food was Mid. Not bad but not the best quality. If you want good fried shrimp hit the shrimp shack instead.

Great place to get all you can eat crab legs. The buffet was always tended to, along with our plates of crab legs. The owner was pleasant to talk to & came to check on everyone to make sure we were all happy. Great first time here at Pop’s!

We decided to stop in and try the buffet for dinner. I was really craving seafood and Pops had been recommended. We were absolutely disappointed, there was barely a buffet, everything to speak of was fried, the crab legs were served on paper plates and I wasn’t even able to finish my one and only plate, we left and the two of us began having stomach pain, nausea, vomiting and other stomach issues. We immediately called Pops when we got home to inform them of the issue and the manager was rude and told us that it couldn’t have been from the food at the buffet, we asked for a refund and he denied the refund and said food poisoning would’ve taken longer but that was the only food we had eaten the entire day. I’m very disappointed and will not be recommending or returning to Pops.
