Food was great!! Pulled pork tender and juicy variety of sauces to use. Corn on cob juicy!! Lyndys potato salad was different with a bit of mustard sweetness and some spices. Very good change !! Sat outside at tables!! Staff was courteous and helpful!! Definitely will be back

This afternoon I finally stopped at Pop’s Smoke Shack in Branson West. I don’t know why I waited so long!
The burnt end sandwich was the star. Big chunks of meat, nicely blackened and juicy, with deep smoke and balanced seasoning. It ranks with the best I’ve had, even back home in Kansas City.
There were several sauces available, and all were top-notch. I especially enjoyed the mustard sauce and the jalapeno sauce with my burnt ends.
I added beans and mac-n-cheese. The mac-n-cheese was extra cheesy with a little spice for depth. The baked beans weren’t the super-meaty style I usually prefer, but the flavor was layered and delicious, a wonderful surprise. I would order both again!

Don’t pass this place by!!! And if you do, GO BACK! The BEST BBQ I have had in Missouri! Baby Back Ribs, no chewing necessary and tasty beyond belief!!! The chicken breast has a flavor bursting rub, very moist, exceedingly tasty. I highly recommend Katie’s Chuckwagon Carrots sweet with a little bite, the Green Beans have a surprise burn and a lovely garlic flavor. The Cucumber and Onions were crispy and flavorful. Corn bread has a lot of real corn kernels and flavor.

We ordered Burnt ends, brisket, pulled pork and smoked turkey, the burnt ends were pretty good, maybe needs a bit more of flavor. Brisket was very good so were the pulled pork and smoked turkey! I loved the cucumber & onions, that brought me back some memories of what our grandmas used to make!! My hubby thought the Mac n cheese was pretty good and somewhat different from what he usually had before. We both really liked the green beans! I took a picture of my dish and didn’t have the chance to take pic of my hubby’s dish, he gobbled up all of the meat within minutes! Employee there was nice and knew some ASL which was a bonus!

DON’T MISS THIS PLACE – HIDDEN GEM!!!
We needed a place to eat lunch and stumbled across this little family restaurant. The service was personable, friendly, and GREAT. The owner came out and talked to us. The food was outstanding!!!!! We had brisket and pulled pork. Both were amazing. The sauces were yummy!!!! The sides were all unique – not a traditional/plain recipe. The bbq beans had several kinds of beans, brisket, and bacon in them. The Mac n cheese was exceptional (I’m not sure what they used to make them that good, but I wanted to lick the bowl). The cole slaw was more like a cole slaw/summer salad mixture. It had tomatoes and cucumbers in it that really pushed it over the top. The corn bread was moist and didn’t need butter. It was also a unique recipe with whole corn incorporated into the muffin.
We were on vacation and will definitely make this a stop each time we come to Branson.

From the land of fresh seafood and bold Mexican flavors in California, we arrived in Kansas City with high expectations for good barbecue. This weekend we came to Branson, for a mini getaway. On Sunday when many spots were closed, we wandered and found Pops Smoke Shop. The moment we tasted it, we were hooked. The turkey and burnt ends melted in our mouths—cooked to perfection and packed with flavor.
Six specialty sauces tempted our palate, and while they all shined, the Jalapeño BBQ sauce stole the show for us. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming vibe.
If you’re in the area for Thanksgiving, they smoke whole turkeys, which sounds like a dream. Highly recommended. A standout spot with a great atmosphere and a team that clearly loves what they do. A home run in every bite!

Delicious BBQ. Ordered a feast and I didn’t pick it up so not sure on inside the building but the food was delicious. We got so much there were plenty of leftovers. Mac and cheese and carrots were good sides along with all the BBQ we got!

We stopped into Pop’s today after seeing a review on TikTok rating it the best BBQ with the “hands down A+ best Mac and Cheese” and boy were they right! But what they forgot to mention was how absolutely amazing the owner is! He was so friendly and made us feel like we were right at home. I will be recommending Pop’s Smoke Shack to everyone I know that is heading to Branson.

They catered lunch for 35 people and the food was AMAZING! From the meaty baked beans and the delicious coleslaw to the tender brisket and moist chicken breast with specialty bbq sauces, everything was top notch! The cheesecake (we tried 3 varieties) reminded me of Cheesecake Factory~ it was sooooo good!
