This was our (wife and me) first time visiting this place. The dining room had one other family seated and a couple of people waiting on to-go orders. After we gave our order it took 45 minutes for it to be brought to the table. The food was delicious, but I can’t figure out if they went fishing for our meal, or the cooks were just that slow. I would only recommend this place if you have time to wait. Also, when you leave the restaurant, there is a chance your clothes will smell like day-old grease.

Our server was a really nice man. He kept our water glasses filled and made sure I had extra napkins. He really cared to make sure our food was great when he brought it to us. The food was delicious. I had the Philly Cheese steak sandwich. VERY YUMMY!! My boyfriend had the Gumbo. Now this man knows his Gumbo! He has done some extensive traveling in his life. So, when he says it is the best Gumbo he has ever had, IT IS! He said it’s even better than the Gumbo he had in New Orleans!!!

This wonderful establishment is conveniently located across the street from the courthouse on N Commerce Street.

Very friendly atmosphere jackee and his beautiful wife Candy are great down home folks. You’ll feel at home when you walk thru the door. They have cabins for rent on site boat launch bait and tackle shop. Great food. House boats for rent on the river everything you need for a great quite and relaxing vacation. Great duck hunting also in the area trails end resort donalsonville ga check out there website.

The so called baked beans are pork and beans warmed up without the pork . Really bad .
Was surprised they don’t serve grits with all the seafood they serve .

Food was good, waitress was very friendly. I thought they had country cooking. I was very disappointed because it was quick food. Got greens from a can. and bar-b-que sauce from a store.

Don’t let eating at a gas station keep you away! Fresh food and great friendly service make it a great place to enjoy an awesome low country boil or fresh oysters and a nice cold beer or a cocktail if you like!!
