Good just like every other pops out there. Can’t say enough about the beef! Great double cheeseburgers too..only 4 stars because they didn’t have the same daily specials like the Homewood store we usually go to. Either that or the kid didn’t know what he was talking about.

Wow if you want to go to a place with great food and even better prices and this is the place you should head to. My husband had the meatball sandwich which he loved. My son had the double dog and he also loves that. We also had fries and a grilled chicken wrap. It was very clean the staff were very nice and it’s in a newer complex very nice.

Pops has become my go-to place for a quick fast food place. It is so much more than beef sandwiches. I have tried the Rueben (they have 2 sizes). Have tried both sizes and the regular sandwich is plenty and the larger sandwich is definitely huge. Also tried their salads and found that they are very good. I didn’t give it all 5 stars however as consistency could be improved. Pictured is a chopped salad which was excellent. The next time I ordered it there was no cheese on top. It is a new place so I am sure the employees are new and the training/consistency will improve over time. The Greek salad pictured is with the $3.00 meat extra option.

The quality at this location keeps falling. I’ve been a Pop’s customer for years. I’ve always enjoyed the food and can’t remember any specific issues. That is, until visiting this location.
I’ve visited the Cedar Lake location four times. The first and second times were “meh,” and the third was a little worse. Portion sizes seemed smaller, and quality was lacking. The last time was the final straw. I ordered the Gyro “platter”. The platter barely came with enough meat for 2 Gyros (usually, there’s more meat than you want). On top of that, all of the meat was shaved into small pieces and was dry. Sadly, I think this was my last visit.

We have never had any bad experiences here. When we go through the drive thru we always hope it’s the gentleman that always says “Welcome to Pops, what’s your beef?” Not sure of his name but he’s definitely great at his job. Food is amazing and always fresh, the season fries are the best!
