Stopped by his truck at Victory North and got a ribs & brisket combo with mac n cheese and baked beans. Listen, that brisket??? Otherworldly juicy. Fall off the bone ribs. Mac n cheese had a crusted top as god intended and even my non bean boyfriend loved the baked beans. Very kind people, worth every penny

Pop Grillin’ stopped by our office, and let me tell you, it was a total hit! The brisket was absolutely on point—smoky, tender, and packed with flavor. The crispy fries? Perfectly golden and the ideal sidekick to the rich, melt-in-your-mouth meat. Every bite was a savory delight. If you get a chance to try this food truck, do yourself a favor and go for the brisket. They definitely brought their A-game, and I can’t wait for them to come back!

Strictly take out only. I’ve only visited this out of the way ( for me) location twice, having a strong hankering for barbecue. Upon a recommendation from someone in a neighboring subdivision, I trekked out to the location, hoping for a delectable meal. Arriving just before closing, I had to settle for the leavings and was unable to partake of my preferred sides. I promised to return at another time, giving the proprietor and the restaurant a fighting chance for a balanced evaluation, as he suggested. On route to the restaurant for my second visit, a fierce downpour began, barely lifting by the time I pulled up and parked outside of Pop’s Grilling. A portent of things to come, perhaps? I placed my order and waited as my food was prepared, to go. After returning home with my meal, I was sorely disappointed with the excessively fatty meat of the ribs tips and the slim, tasteless sides and slight dessert serving. I can only surmise that the great recommendation that prompted me to search out and visit this location, obviously emanated from someone who is devoid of taste buds and cooking ability. I was totally underwhelmed. Perhaps, if I’d reminded the proprietor of his previous proposal, an effort would have been made to at least attempt to impress me with a complete and tasty meal. As it stands, it’s not worth the gas expended, for another trip if the quality of the offerings haven’t improved.
