The salsa is AMAZING Honest review!! Our breakfast was delicious and the salsa won an award in my book. If we ever happen to drive up or down from Chicago or Minnesota we mostly definitely will make an effort to stop here again. This review should have been posted back in July but I didn’t get around to it until now

You won’t find better home cooked meals than at Pop’s! Order a one egg omelet or a full chicken fry dinner, everything is amazing! Prices are surprisingly so good!
Don’t miss out on this one!

Fantastic food and GREAT prices! Went there for the first time today and wished they had more places like this in small towns. You have to try this place out if you haven’t.

Spent a few days in KS visiting with my Pop last year. Was out for an adventure visiting small towns around Newton. Stumbled upon Pops Diner around lunch time and decided to give it a go. Was not disappointed. One of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had. I’ve traveled all over North America, from Puebla, Mexico to Edmonton, Canada. This classic, well crafted DELICIOUS cheeseburger is in my top 3 of all time. No stunt burger here. No truffle, gold leaf garbage. No sir. Great bun, better patty( ies), American cheese and whatever condiments you like. Served with onion and pickles if I remember correctly. I still crave that burger. Small town hospitality in my favourite, middle America. One day, I’ll be back…

One of the best Western Omelets I’ve ever had at a Diner/Coney. Fresh veggies, crisp onions, juicy tomatoes, and, I swear this to be true, I heard a chicken squawk out back when they went to get my eggs. They even brought my wife’s service dog water. All around friendly, excellent service.

Good food for a fair price. Only complaint is that the place felt run down and like it hadn’t seen any updates in 20+ years.

Great little cafe. Stepping back in time. Definitely have the regulars coming in daily. Great to see.
Maybe a tad pricey for the area. $1.75 for coffee and $2.25 for fountain.
